I have a great interest in the field of chemistry and teaching. I have interest towards not only the brilliant students but also the one who finds it's hard to learn chemistry. I usually adopts activity based techniques of teaching for the better understanding.
I prefer to start from basis and then move ahead and solve different examples and expect same from the student so that the concepts get clear. Before starting the lecture I also prepare some notes which can help the student to understand some concepts easily.
My teaching method is work and learn. I believe in each lesson, a student can learn more than the book limits. I intend to work with students who want to learn with real world lesson. I would relate each lesson with the real world problems and work on that together, so that the student doesn't bound to the books only and some creativity.
All students approach learning and problem solving differently. I draw upon methodologies learnt from my tertiary education to systematically identify the root concept causes of why a student may be struggling within a particular subject(s), and tailor my teaching method based on my assessment of the gaps within the students understanding.
I attempt to guide my students towards the correct solution - rather than simply giving an answer, I steer students to reach their own conclusion. This allows for not only a sense of accomplishment, but develops a problem solving mindset which is applicable to problems in a range of other subjects.
I used different types of teaching methodologies on the basis of students type and nature of the course. Mostly I used to brainstorm the students on a particular lesson. I usually start my lesson by introducing a case, similar to the lesson. Then I will introduce the objective of the course.
I am a PhD candidate and currently involve in tutoring postgraduate students to improve their scientific writing skills. I have a work experience of tutoring for five years. I am very dedicated to providing one-on-one sessions to the students so that I can focus on their weaknesses and strengths.
I believe in active learning. The student approaches the lesson with a working background knowledge and then try to apply what they are learning immediately after via different means (based on an assessment at the start of the meeting to gauge what the student already knows and what needs to be improved).
Methods of teaching is determined by three factors: the purpose, deadline and current knowledges. The first lesson takes place in the form of a test, and then we discuss an individual plan and textbooks.
Its based on student need.My personal focus will be on making students happy in learning and the process will be hassle free.
My teaching method is demonstrating and practising. I will try to make them understand the concept rather than mugging up.
I am currently a medical student from UTAS with a passion for teaching, helping students build confidence, and solve problems in a methodical, easy to follow way.
Teaching is my passion and I love it because it is the best way to keep your knowledge up to date and be aware of latest information. I teach all the students until they understand everything rather than cramming.
I normally base all my classes on the students’ requirements. Additionally, the level of the knowledge of the students matters when deciding the level of the complexity of the course delivery.
Sometimes is difficult to understand a new subject in sciences, or at least some student think so. I will show you how easy is to pick up new concept in chemistry by using simple examples and terminology at first. You will be amazed how simple can be once you catch the general idea.
I'm a Year 2 medical student in UTAS. Mathematics, however, remains one of my favourite subjects, and I would love for an opportunity to keep in touch with it by tutoring others.
I believe that it is extremely important for students to understand the content thoroughly in order to achieve the marks they wish. I focus upon making sure students do not just rote learn but actually understand all the key components of the subject.
My teaching method is oral, power point presentation with diagrams, pictures, audio video visuals and CHEMISTRY is an important subject and it must learn by examples with mechanisms and practice of few examples. Teaching is a passion for me always.
If you are a High school student or the parent of one, and you are looking to do well in an end-of-year test, or if are just looking for a little bit of extra help in science, I am sure I will be able to assist.
I’ve recently moved to Tas, and would love to share my enthusiasm for chemistry (and science in general) with anyone seeking assistance. I’m certain that together, we can solve any issue.
I usually go over the key points of each week's lecture and use examples to illustrate them. This is generally followed by a list of past exam questions assessing the topic. I find this approach to be the most interactive and effective.
Am happy to teach any students struggling in any science or maths subjects or ones who want to excel and perform better in their class. I would base any lesson on the content currently being focused on in class or upcoming work in the term or semester and helping students practise for exams.
The sessions I provide include multimedia, active learning and work-based activities, supported by discussion, q&a, practice and coaching. I apply the learning to practical situations and to entrepreneurial applications where relevant to learners.
I enjoy teaching so much, therefore with each student, I take my time to understand the student needs. Usually, I ask few question regarding the subject and topic to work on, then with the student, we plan a workflow to solve key problems which might help him in his/her concerns.
I love to teach the students the way they want so that they are comfortable with my teaching... I teach according to the students capability and find it more important to make the student understand the topic properly before I move forward to the next one.
As, i have a little bit experience of research so my metholodgy depends on the practical knowledge. I try to understand things by applying practical example.

I have a flexible teaching methodology, I tend to understand the students comfort zone and skill level and work at an acceptable pace for both the student and I to be in the same page. I may tend to couple chapters at a time to provide a comprehensive picture if the student wishes to do so. I also make sure to distinguish them enough to understand the differences in chapters.
Prectical is a beat method to learning science especially chemistry.
In teaching, I believe in first of all starting with creating an environment for learning; moving on to helping students develop understanding, and then aiding them and encouraging them to extend and apply the knowledge they gain.
