I love math because the numbers have GREAT significance! Therefore, I would love to have students who are passionate about learning, to make a difference in their world with what they learn. With math, all it takes is PRACTICE so, there would be a teaching session, a practice session and an assessment session.
It varies from student to student. I always start my lessons by having a quick chat with the student, just to see how they are. We then get into the content, using some games and other activities to help with the subject matter. We then finish off with a quick lesson review.

1.Syllabus 2.Explain Concepts 3.Practice 4.Practice more My teaching style is straightforward and solutions I provide are concise. I am quite good at identifying a student's difficulty whether it be in their learning style or problem solving. My philosophy is keep it simple students.
Hi Guys my name is Josiah! I am a tutor based in Karawara, Perth looking to work with Chemistry students wanting to achieve in the local area! My lessons are open to students of all abilities.
I usually use my first lesson to analyse how my students learn and identify their strength and weaknesses and then design a custom approach to what may suit them best. I make complex concepts simple and easy to understand.
I am a postgraduate student and I have learnt a lot through experience. My teaching method is simple, just to make the student understand the principle and then apply it in his daily life activities to remember. And until I make him/her learn, I will try various methodologies such as explaining in activity related way, story telling, visualizing by thoughts etc.
I believe all students have great potential in terms of academic achievement I strive to be that person who helps you with those hard, specific questions that came up as you study a topic. On the other hand, if you feel you are unsure of a whole topic, I aim to restore your confidence. I'll do this by going over it thoroughly, clearly and simply.
Each student has a different mindset and different understanding level. We can't apply same methods and strategies to everyone. Before starting a new topic, I like to recall basic concepts related to the topic. Practice makes a man perfect. I make students do lots of practice by means of worksheets and interesting activities.
My method of teaching is to get the students to do questions and practice what they have learnt in class so they can consolidate the information they need for their exams and later in life. Also help the students to study smarter not harder and to get the best marks they can get.
I like to target areas in which the students highlight on their own as a weakness. Once these weakness are established, one is selected for the lesson. Firstly, the fundamentals will be gone over in depth before working through problems (external problems and problems given in class) . After this, any problems the student is stick with in school will also be explained.
Students can come with their textbooks/questions/notebooks and we can work on the problems they are struggling with and cover the course content in an intelligible manner. I have a wide range of notes, tests, worksheets and mock exams plus their answers and offer an easy, patient and comprehensive tutoring style so students can easily understand the course syllabus.
My teaching method is more of relating the studies to real life. I am sure we relate to things that we see daily than to things which we find virtual & read & see in the books. Lessons will be completed before time just to make you correlate what the lessons actually meant. I have tried implementing what i have learnt through my research jobs.
I have taught maths, science and chemistry for 18 years to grades 7-12 level students. Over the years I have also gained degrees in Applied Sciences, chemical engineering prior to gaining diploma in teaching maths and science. Now I am studying project management courses at Curtin University. I love teaching chemistry most with the content knowledge and skills I posses.
My lessons are geared towards students of all levels, who seek improvement in a range of areas. I base my lessons off the curriculum content and course materials. A lesson will involve a clear explanation/clarification on a topic followed by working through example questions. I make it my priority to make students feel calm and confident so they can learn as best as possible.
I prefer to teach one on one but a group of max 5 people would also be fine so that I can give individual attention to the student and explain the concepts clearly.
I am a member of the Golden Key International Honours Society and have completed a double degree in maths and stats, achieving a WAM of 92, a GPA of 6.69, high distinctions in over 85 % of the units. Finishing top student I was awarded two faculty medals for outstanding achievement.
My teaching methodology is pretty interesting. i start with few basic questions to my students on the respective subjects.. through their answers i can check their mental level.. then i start to deliver according to their learning capacities..
I base my classes on the course structure and outline, focusing on topics that the student struggles with. My classes would be best suited for students who require additional help to understand and comprehend concepts and topics covered in the course.
My teaching method revolves around building trust with my students. I personally believe that building mutual trust between student and teacher is pivotal in building a safe learning environment whereby the student feels safe to express themselves. In a classroom this might generally mean the student is able to answer questions, and feel safe enough to do so without 100% certainty of their answer.
I believe that demonstrating and collaboration are the most effective teaching methods at the secondary school. The side benefit is the development of communication skills and teamwork. However, I have experience with all main teaching methods, including explanation, demonstration, learning by teaching, as well as some unorthodox methods, for example learning by playing.
My teaching style is underpinned by the concept of a "relational classroom" where the the student feels comfortable in taking academic risks and making their voice heard. I want my students to understand that I am there to help them, not to judge them or ‘force’ them to learn.
I'd like to teach the students who are passionate, however, struggling with receiving high achievements. I am very confident that I can help you. And this is my target of being a tutor. -If it is a new topic, I will cover the content at a fast pace and then interact with the students, to show their understanding and enquiries.
I am a final year Neuroscience student previous Nursing degree student and a future medical student, who have scored well in ATAR and would love passing on a helping hand onto students who needs help. I am good in Algebra and science.
I have completed a Bachelors in Biomedical Science and I am able to tutor students in biology and chemistry (High school or University level). I am able to help with university or high school assignments and prepare you for examination time.
I firstly have a look at the program that the student have to cover and the exams that the student has to pass, then i like to talk to the student one on one to assess the problem that he or she has with the subject. From then i adopt a method of teaching that is aimed at making the subject more concrete to the student and so more at grasp.
My teaching methodology is to give small hints to the person first and ask them how they think the problem should be attempted. If this does not work I will create a similar question and walk them through the steps I would take to solving it, then I would return to the previous question and ask them to attempt it again with the knowledge they gained.
My teaching methods will depend on the student profile. We will have a talk previous to the class so I can prepare each lessons beforehand. I also like doing reviews to keep the most important things in your mind .
No matter how hard something is, if you put enough time into it.. you will understand it. That was my philosophy in high school and it worked out pretty well for me. Being pressured to understand a concept is an easy way to be deterred or not learn the content in depth. That is why I approach all clients with patience. We will work at your pace to maximize the depth of information learnt.
