As a student athlete mentor I base my teaching methodology of encouraging a healthy lifestyle both in the classroom and out in the sports field. I believe in teaching should encourage creative thinking, team work and problem solving. Like a coach or a mentor you demonstrate the lesson but you allow the students to practice themselves.
My teaching method suits student at any levels. With different students, I have different teaching methods which suit their style of absorbing knowledge. I'm patient and friendly so I can teach students at any levels.
My method of explaining things is pretty straightforward, in that anything will be easy to grasp if it is logical. A lot of students suffer from not being able to make logic or common sense of their lectures, and that is that I aim to achieve. As a previous engineer and now researcher, I can combine both practicality and science to form a comprehensive approach to teaching a subject.
I enjoy working with children and I like to make learning fun for them so that they are engaged at all times and can obtain the most from the session. My lesson structure covers all topics the student requires extra help on, while also helping them strengthen their grasp on concepts they already feel confident about.
My teaching method is engaging and fun. My ultimate aim is to make students independent and confident learners. I believe that students' comprehension should be analysed with a more engaging manner in the forms of quizzes and games besides written and oral tests.
I will not say I strictly follow text books. But I do give extreme importance to the basics of any topic. If the building foundation is not strong enough, the whole building will fall down. I believe every student should be at least aware of all the approaches there is to a problem, and choose a solution most fit for the problem. I think that exercises the mind and expands knowledge.

I like to base my classes off of the topics which the students are currently learning or any other topics which students may need clarification with or want a deeper understanding in. I am to ensure that by the end of the lesson, students thoroughly understand the topic we've been talking about.
I always address pressing concerns with students, i.e. the topics that they're most struggling with. After tackling the difficult topics, I move on to getting the student ahead and well prepared for any assessment they come across. I find this method of teaching helps students achieve the best marks possible.
My first meeting with students is about his needs for the subject. A problem can be solved with more than one method. I encourage students to suggest the possible solutions and then explain why the particular approach is the best to address the issue. I am always open to teach the subject either chapter wise or by the random selection of topics depending on the requirement of student.

Science and Maths are simple if you think simple. My strategy is simple and it works. I always ask simple but interesting questions before teaching a chapter. For example: 'Why are we walking on the earth but not flying?', ask this question when I teach 'Gravity' or 'Why does our mother earth get angry and shake us (an earthquake)?', ask when dealing with natural science.
