I believe in active learning. The student approaches the lesson with a working background knowledge and then try to apply what they are learning immediately after via different means (based on an assessment at the start of the meeting to gauge what the student already knows and what needs to be improved).
Methods of teaching is determined by three factors: the purpose, deadline and current knowledges. The first lesson takes place in the form of a test, and then we discuss an individual plan and textbooks.

I prefer to start from basis and then move ahead and solve different examples and expect same from the student so that the concepts get clear.Before starting the lecture I also prepare some notes which can help the student to understand some concepts easily.
I have a flexible teaching methodology, I tend to understand the students comfort zone and skill level and work at an acceptable pace for both the student and I to be in the same page. I may tend to couple chapters at a time to provide a comprehensive picture if the student wishes to do so. I also make sure to distinguish them enough to understand the differences in chapters.
My teaching method is work and learn. I believe in each lesson, a student can learn more than the book limits. I intend to work with students who want to learn with real world lesson. I would relate each lesson with the real world problems and work on that together, so that the student doesn't bound to the books only and some creativity.
