I'm a medical student in UTAS. Mathematics, however, remains one of my favourite subjects, and I would love for an opportunity to keep in touch with it by tutoring others.
Methods of teaching is determined by three factors: the purpose, deadline and current knowledges. The first lesson takes place in the form of a test, and then we discuss an individual plan and textbooks.
I am currently a medical student from UTAS with a passion for teaching, helping students build confidence, and solve problems in a methodical, easy to follow way.
In teaching, I believe in first of all starting with creating an environment for learning; moving on to helping students develop understanding, and then aiding them and encouraging them to extend and apply the knowledge they gain.
I approach any topics that students wish to learn/improve their knowledge of in a methological and thorough way, making sure that both the student and I have knowledge of any relevant subject syllabi so that all material is covered appropriately. I am tutoring students at the high school and college (Year 11 and 12, TCE and IB) level.
I prefer to start from basis and then move ahead and solve different examples and expect same from the student so that the concepts get clear. Before starting the lecture I also prepare some notes which can help the student to understand some concepts easily.
My teaching method is work and learn. I believe in each lesson, a student can learn more than the book limits. I intend to work with students who want to learn with real world lesson. I would relate each lesson with the real world problems and work on that together, so that the student doesn't bound to the books only and some creativity.
I base my lessons on the Student's lessons. I try to simplify it as much as possible and make it fun for them to make it more appealing to younger kids. I tutored my son in Singaporean Math. I believe that every kid has a different learning curve.
All students approach learning and problem solving differently. I draw upon methodologies learnt from my tertiary education to systematically identify the root concept causes of why a student may be struggling within a particular subject(s), and tailor my teaching method based on my assessment of the gaps within the students understanding.
I enjoy teaching so much, therefore with each student, I take my time to understand the student needs. Usually, I ask few question regarding the subject and topic to work on, then with the student, we plan a workflow to solve key problems which might help him in his/her concerns.
I usually go over the key points of each week's lecture and use examples to illustrate them. This is generally followed by a list of past exam questions assessing the topic. I find this approach to be the most interactive and effective.
I have given lessons to a high school student in Hobart which was very successful and supportive for her exam. I usually discuss the answers for the assignments and previous year examination papers. I'm looking forward to help students who find chemistry difficult.
The sessions I provide include multimedia, active learning and work-based activities, supported by discussion, q&a, practice and coaching. I apply the learning to practical situations and to entrepreneurial applications where relevant to learners.
I believe that it is extremely important for students to understand the content thoroughly in order to achieve the marks they wish. I focus upon making sure students do not just rote learn but actually understand all the key components of the subject.
My teaching method is quite simple and easy to understand as i try to relate the things with our daily life happenings which seems interesting and easy to remember for students.moreover i ask questions for more clearification to the students.
Currently pursuing masters of pharmaceutical science degree from university of tasmania .I did my bachelors in pharmacy at Andhra university .

I am a PhD candidate and currently involve in tutoring postgraduate students to improve their scientific writing skills. I have a work experience of tutoring for five years. I am very dedicated to providing one-on-one sessions to the students so that I can focus on their weaknesses and strengths.
I am a student at the University of Tasmania studying Master's of Pharmaceutical science. I have a good grasp over chemistry.
I’ve recently moved to Tas, and would love to share my enthusiasm for chemistry (and science in general) with anyone seeking assistance. I’m certain that together, we can solve any issue.
As, i have a little bit experience of research so my metholodgy depends on the practical knowledge. I try to understand things by applying practical example.
Am happy to teach any students struggling in any science or maths subjects or ones who want to excel and perform better in their class. I would base any lesson on the content currently being focused on in class or upcoming work in the term or semester and helping students practise for exams.
