I use a variety of teaching methods in my lessons. I have vivid knowledge of the application of Chemistry to industrial processes and l help students to master basic Chemistry concepts both theoretically and practically. I have a strong Mathematical and Physics background, which makes it easier for me to teach a wide range of Chemistry fields.
My teaching method is very flexible and typically tailored to the individual needs of my student. However, I find most students are yet to develop or understand their best learning style and I try to implement ways for us to find this. I find problem based learning to be the most beneficial for students as it allows them to begin to think for themselves and develop problem solving strategies.
- Work through the course outline - try to go at least one chapter ahead of school but will always cater for student's needs - can provide consolidation lessons to re-cover the content taught in school in any given week - exam preparation one week prior to any school tests and can provide assistance with any school assessments/assignments
I base my teaching on what you know? I already (likely) to know the answer. I am here for you to figure out how to get the final answer and learn from your mistakes. Also to teach the fastest way to get an answer.
I believe that the best way to learn is through constant exposure and repetition. As such, we go through and review the content for the week during the lesson. After reviewing the content, we go through it again whether it be through practice (in the case of math and physics) or finding ways to memorise content (in the case of rote learning based subjects such as Human Biology).
I can understand mind and that help me to understand problems of students also and I can give great solutions to that as I have learnt these subjects from base to a good level. I will tell practical and creative ideas that will be helpful in subjects and life also.
My teaching method is very much student-centred and focuses on the needs of the student, such what they actually need help in, as well as reinforcing the content that they know. I also focus on lesson goals to ensure that progress and growth are made, build confidence and give lessons and a sense of direction and purpose.
I have experience as a classroom teacher so I am aware of the requirements of teaching high school students. More than anything, I aim to make my lessons as engaging as possible as I believe you cannot learn if you are not interested.
My focus would always be to remove any doubt that comes to your mind even if I have to research a lot on it and give the students a proper understanding of the concept so that you can solve any problem based on it.
according to level of student i will start from scratch and do my level best so that my student give outstanding exam results
I give good examples and make the students understand each and every properly. As I’m myself a student so I know what teaching method would suit a certain type of student.
Avneet kaur. I have four years chemistry and math teaching experience . My qualufication is master of chemistry, B.ed , M.ed from flinders uni adelaide.
I pace my lessons at the same rate as my students learn content in class to ensure that they have a true mastery of their understanding. My current students often bring me their recent topic tests and material they do not understand in class so we can go through them in detail.
My teaching method is very practical. I always start with an introduction and some fun facts about the topic, some theoretical content and then I provide different strategies for solving problems, so students have many tools and more understanding. Then I provide some problems, increasing in difficulty, and I assist them if they need help.

I’m hoping to make my lessons fun and interactive like a visit to Questacon! I will feel a great sense of achievement if I can give you an “ahhh I get it” moment on a topic that you have been struggling to understand.
I approach each topic in a personalised way for each individual student so that they can understand the content in the most in-depth way possible. I prefer to teach the student techniques that allow them to understand the content on a long-term scale rather than quick memory.
My teaching methods are largely based around the needs of individual students or groups.
I base my classes on the topics you have/are currently learning in a way where new topics branch off and build upon previous theory. I believe building a strong base of primary topics leads to my students having greater rates of success with more intricate topics as they are able to access this new information much easier.
I base my classes on the topics being done at school, then progress into future topics. I start each topic from the basics and build on, then I link each topic together. I am very patient and explain concepts in different ways, you can be confident you will learn and improve with me.
I will usually try to clear the concept and make sure the student understands well and have test conducted every week so that it helps students in revision
I am a first year student at James Cook University. I enjoy helping people, especially kids and students. My lessons are targeted at any type of student who is in need of assistant. Together, we can figure out a way of learning and teaching that can help you the most.
I base my teaching on areas the student might have difficulty in and aim to focus it in a way that they would understand the topic, I'm a flexible teacher and since I am a student as well, I will also be learning alongside the student
To explain in as many different ways possible. Help the student grasp concepts from the concepts they already know. I am fluent at English so I am very easily understood when I speak. Start from basics and teach from there.
I find the best way to teach someone is by identifying their preferred learning style and presenting the information within this learning style. Eg. providing diagrams and graphs for students who are visual learners, providing examples to be completed by students who learn by doing, etc.
My methodology will vary depending on the condition and purpose of you. The measurement I take into consideration will depend on four simple questions: 1. What is your main purpose? i.e. to boost test score? to build a strong knowledge background? to enhance logical thinking ability? etc. 2.
Teaching is something which comes to me naturally. Even at work I have taught courses and mentored junior staff. My teaching methodology consists of getting to understand the basic concepts first and then application of those concepts. I offer plenty of practice material and quizzes.
My teaching method is different from other tutors. I first try to understand the total understanding a student has regarding his/her topic and the problems they are facing. I teach the student the basic concepts of the subject initially or brush the topic if they are familiar with it and then start topic by topic. I take surprise tests to assess the students.
Easy going methodology, take each and every student together and make studies fun. I understand how some times particular subjects are difficult for an Individual and appreciate solving doubts even in the middle of class. Healthy discussion is a key for group of students.
I teach by making concepts easy to understand by relating them to more common scenarios which allows students to better understand what it is they are supposed to be doing. Also showing students different ways about working something out to see which way suits them best is a strategy I feel is very effective.
