My teaching method depends on the student and studies they undertake. I am strict with pre reading and homework for progression of the students learning. Problem solving is a priority as well. However Im easy going person and flexible to accomodate.
Private, one on one tutoring in the Perth metro area for High School, TAFE and University students wishing to improve their grades or excel in their studies. Tutoring is tailored to individual learning needs identified during each session. Sessions are interactive with maximum opportunity for student practice. Key concepts and principles are explained and revised as required.
My teaching methodology is to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the student first and foremost and then lay out a suitable study plan and approach. Lesson Structure might comprise of focusing on the fundamental theory and then diving into the practical problems implementing those fundamentals.
I have had 1.5 years worth of experience tutoring privately but have new listing through Superprof. My teaching method is based on a good foundational understanding.
My method of explaining things is pretty straightforward, in that anything will be easy to grasp if it is logical. A lot of students suffer from not being able to make logic or common sense of their lectures, and that is that I aim to achieve. As a previous engineer and now researcher, I can combine both practicality and science to form a comprehensive approach to teaching a subject.
My lessons are personalized to the need of the student. Typically this includes multiple explanations of concepts in different ways, question-answer based learning and teaching my students how to apply their knowledge in an exam and real-life situations. Use of diagrams an analogies are common in my lessons to cater for visual learners.
I'm passionate about natural sciences and through my travel in Australia I improved many of my knowledge and understanding of the world we are living in. I'm super happy to help you through all the main scientific fields: biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics I accept all kind of students from high school to uni. My idea is to help the students at what they want to get better at.
I am a student pursuing Engineering Masters Degree at Edith Cowan University, Joondalup. My classes focus on increasing the practical knowledge of my students and are exam-oriented. I myself being a student can easily provide all those trips and tricks out there, to score the maximum. Classes can be conducted at places of your choice.

My teaching method is to go through specific subjects, questions or topics that students are stuck on and need help with, and go through each one until the student understands it. I will make practice tests and any other study methods that they/ you would also like me to include.
I have always excelled in my studies, so people used to seek help from me including the strategies I use to study and prepare for examinations. This led to pursuing tutoring as a part time job during my Grade 12. I prefer one-to-one interaction away from classroom where students do not feel pressured or hesitate to ask questions.
My teaching method is to place my students as the centre of their own learning, cater to their learning style and advantages to build the lessons and related activities. I try to include fun activities in each lesson to make it memorable and applicable.
I believe teaching environments should be fun and exciting, it should want to make you learn more. I base my teaching method on providing my students the opportunity figure out and to implement the new skills they learn. Encouraging them to make mistakes, and to learn from them. I mediate this process depending on the student.
I have given piano lessons before, where I didn't allow the student to simply copy what I was playing and convinced them to read the music in order to work out what to play. I haven't had any previous maths teaching experience but I would make sure that the student was doing the work themselves; with assistance in how to problem solve in similar examples.
Every student learns differently, and my goal is to tailor my teaching method to suit the way you understand the content and concepts. Anyone is able to memorise and 'regurgitate' what you have learnt, given time; my aim is to help you apply the relevant content to the relevant questions in the exam, and be clinical in the way you phrase your answers.
Face-to-face teaching with students going through their subject guides ensuring they understand all concepts of the subject/course. Working through textbook and/or material given by main teacher/lecturer. Working through the concepts that the student is struggling with as well as the relevant questions to apply the theory and ideas that arise during study.
In teaching, I believe in first of all starting with creating an environment for learning; moving on to helping students develop understanding, and then aiding them and encouraging them to extend and apply the knowledge they gain.
My teaching methods vary depending on the individual student but the most important thing to support life long learning is the development of good efficient habits and the ability to adapt to new challenges. No one student is more capable than any other and all my lessons are based around that students needs. I hope to teach the student to be confident and successful as an individual.
My classes are a blend of intrinsic and extrinsic studies with more inquiry-based studies. it is more holistic, conceptual and interdisciplinary. Students get enough freedom to ask and fulfil their knowledge. I give equal weight in exam strategy as well theoretical concept.
Chemistry Units 1 & 2 Fill in the gaps in knowledge so that you can be successful in year 11. Chemistry Units 3 & 4 Extend your understanding and tackle more difficult problems to prepare for examinations. Human Biology Units 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 Expand your knowledge base and understand concepts better. Biology Units 1-4 Expand your knowledge base and understand concepts better.
Depending on the student’s needs, I like to base my classes on either guiding the student to understanding concepts or exam questions. I like to encourage students to ask questions and from the questions asked we can explore the concepts behind.
I tutored friends and students in both high school and university. Currently have 2 other students I am tutoring. I base the teaching approach off the individual. We all learn differently and it's important to understand that to find out the most effective learning approach for each student. This is about students learning and acquiring the help they need to succeed in trouble areas.
A PhD researcher from RMIT in chemical engineering .Chemical engineering is a multi-disciplinary branch of engineering that uses principles of chemistry, applied physics, life sciences (microbiology and biochemistry), applied mathematics and economics to produce, transform, and transport chemicals, materials and energy. I give private lessons and semi-private lessons for 2-3 students in Newcastle.
Most of the lessons I have conducted previously do not have a set structure as the student usually sets the pace for the lesson. At the start of each lesson I ask the student what they would like to work on. Most students bring in their homework or assessments and we work on that together and I teach them the concepts used throughout this work.
I like to teach every subject from a practical & holistic manner not just to pass the next exam. I like chemistry , algebra, trigonometry , physics subjects in particular.Happy to provide mentoring on career planning & likes to encourage developing a self learning culture.
Math can be fun when you get it. I want to help students find joy in solving math problems and getting good grades in the subject. We will look at what topics you as a student need help with, and work from there.

Hey! I'm a Dutch mechanical engineer that is currently travelling through Australia. In order to earn extra pocket money, I have started to teach local students in Maths, physics and chemistry at all levels. Having recently finished my own education, I know where most of the pitfalls are for students starting out in the field or having to finish their primary education.
