I love to help students to understand chemistry concepts in deep. After, Application on problem sets will be fun. I have tutored many classes in general chemistry and organic chemistry. I can solve Assignments and lab reports with all formatting guidelines. Grade A is my minimum standard.
My teaching methodology starts with basic introduction to concepts and by presenting powerpoint sessions with videos explaining the mechanisms and process . I include problem solving questions in between for the student to get familiarised with the kind of questions asked in the respective examinations.
My main philosophy in teaching is to strengthen one's fundamentals and make students have a clear understanding of the basic concepts, be it maths or physics or even chemistry. I am aware that every student has a different learning curve and capacity.
I base my lessons on real world chemistry, to train intuition over rote learning. The focus is primarily on actual scenarios, and how each concept learned is used in today’s world. This provides a holistic understanding, where each gap can be noticed and fixed.
from the usual method, I adapt to many different methods based on my students. If everyone was to learn from the same method, then a classroom teacher would suffice. the usual method would be to break down a subject in several parts, introducing a student to these parts and then connecting these parts together, like a puzzle. though this approach is mostly used for science subjects.
I live ten minutes walk from Cavendish Road State High School. I prefer to tutor at my place however, I am open to traveling short distances to a student's preferred location. I can also tutor at UQ St Lucia if that suits the student.
Many people are intimidated by mathematics and science, because they do not have the correct foundations. I will help you to discover what you already know. I will teach you to build from what you already know, to what you do not yet know. Mathematics and science should never feel mysterious. There is always a reason! I will help you to understand *why* things work the way they do.
I would say my teaching methodology involves the use of interactive and engaging stimulus to really allow my students to find interest in the topic and learn from their own curiosity.
1.Syllabus 2.Explain Concepts 3.Practice 4.Practice more My teaching style is straightforward and solutions I provide are concise. I am quite good at identifying a student's difficulty whether it be in their learning style or problem solving. My philosophy is keep it simple students.
We believe to teach by reaching the level of student's capability to comprehend. We love to make our subjects more interesting and enjoyable.
My teaching method is very interactive and I provide constructive feedback as part of encouragement of student learning. I make sure that students understand and are confident with new knowledge. I provide ample opportunities for students to apply their learning .
My teaching style is based on a fun approach to learning. I believe that students learn best in a comfortable environment, so I like to be seen as an approachable person, which creates a space that allows mistakes to be viewed in a positive light as learning opportunities.
The way I teach solely depends on the needs of the child, every child id different so the needs. My focus lie's on getting their basics strong and also in cooperating a sense of confidence and interest of the child towards the subject.
I love teaching. I am a degree qualified Engineer and have also completed a PhD degree in 2018. I am currently working as postdoctoral fellow at Western Sydney University. Tutoring is my passion, I am constantly refining my tutoring skills and approaches and have full confidence that I can drive all high-school students to achieve their academic goals.
Worked in DASMESH PUBLIC SCHOOL KOTKAPURA as TGT Science (2013-june201) Responsibilities: Providing guidance and advice to pupils on educational and social matters. Liaising with the parents or guardians of pupils. Looking after the teaching material and resources.
My teaching method is simple. I introduce the topic to my students and give them a briefing on it. After making sure students are clear on what we are about to do, I proceed with the methods. With mathematics, I will solve problems from textbooks with fine details and ask for students' feedback after every step.
I like to take a very active approach to teaching. The more enjoyable it is, the easier it is to learn. I try to make the content relevant and applicable to a range of situations to allow it to be accessible to all students. Each student, whether in a group session or on a one to one basis will get an individualised programme to enable them to progress based on their own ability.
As a teacher, gifted students and ASD students are my sweet spot. My teaching method is to assess where a student's learning is at and then introduce the concepts that unlock the next level. I am a nurturer and particularly look after gender diverse students with understanding.
I favour discussion with my student, in order to understand their strengths and weaknesses. Through this, the weakness can be strengthened and the strength can be further established. I will offer resources, homework and weekly exams to ensure understanding is solidified.
I was not very good at maths or science when I was at school and I dropped out of college half way through year 12 because I was so disengaged. When I finally returned to school (at 28) to complete my degrees, these early experiences motivated me to make mathematics and science more accessible to everyone.
My teaching method is generally starting from the basics and working our way up.
As I am passionate about chemistry I will work on students developing a passion for the subject by exemplifying both theoretical and practical aspects of chemistry with live examples - like how much Chemistry we are using in our everyday life. In my view, this is the easiest and friendliest way of learning and loving the subject.
I am not tutoring anyone as a teacher but I will put myself in your position, a student, as how I was in year 12. Learning can be a little bit difficult and I'll ask you to tell your understands before going into the lessons. If I find that you don't quite understand and you're a bit confused, I'll correct you on the way. If you don't get the whole concept, that's ok! I am here to help.
I believe that every person has his own unique ways of learning. I use multiple ways or methods to help out students. Thus, I practice a lot with my student, by giving them more exercise and work to do. There is a saying in French which translates to" Repetition is the mother of science".
A most common problem with students starting to learn chemical reactions is how to write the reaction equation, and how to calculate the subscript numbers on the lower right side of each element in the equation. It is a special kind of maths problem. That is for starters. When it comes to a specific tuition session, I need the student to tell me in advance what he needs help on.
After every 3-4 lecture I take test to understand the outcome of my lecture.
Meet and greet first off. I generally try to get some background information of completed subjects and what the student wants to achieve. Then begin with the subject they want to learn. Teach the relevant information, but try to tailor my teaching to suit the student.
My teaching lessons are fairly relaxed. Simply show me your current homework, syllabus or tell me anything you would like me to go over you with and I will explain it as best I can. I ensure that you know exactly what the syllabus is asking and I put emphasis on questions which are the most likely to be asked in a test.
I believe in teaching the easiest method before allowing the student to attempt to put this knowledge into practice with the aid of the tutor if needed
My teaching method always interactive and child center. It depends on the children's age and understanding. I would like to direct children and provide the opportunity to experiential learning with proper guidance. Before starting the lesson I will try to undersdand the child's level of knowledge of the particular area by asking questions relevant to the lesson and giving some questions to solve.

Perfect! I would recommend this teacher. He is an excellent tutor
Perfect! Sjoerd has really helped with my chemistry, he is very patient and understanding. He will explain the problem until I understand. Each session becomes a little more understood and I even have a lot more motivation to study for organic chemistry.
