I believe in providing application based understanding of subjects which help students to grasp concepts very quickly and effectively. Being an engineer and now a researcher, I have strong subject knowledge in maths, physics and chemistry and therefore I can explain one concept in several different ways.
I can teach which ever way the student deems best for them. My teaching methods will range between visual, auditory, linguistic and kinesthetic. I know that each individual requires specific and tailored help and having gone through high school recently, I am able to provide help sheets, summary notes, practice questions which relate to current course material.
My main method of teaching is question based learning. I like students to immerse themselves inside the topic and then ask as much as questions as possible. A lesson might start off by introduction to the topic which may lead to connecting the dots. Students have a lot of fragmented knowledge and I gear my lessons towards making their understanding more concrete.
I try to unravel the concept behind a boring school lesson with practical applications and examples to make it more interesting and easy to understand. Its based on experiences I had as a student, where I found certain topics extremely difficult but once grasped the concept I realized it would have been pretty simple if someone had explained it to me like this.
I like to conduct by lessons engaging students to achieve their best at the same time achieving the curriculum goals. Normally I start my lesson by providing an appropriate hook. Then I conduct the class by engaging the students. I make sure to do a follow up activity.
My teaching methodology includes outlining difficulties, illustrating, demonstrating, explaining and giving exercises. I also use questions and answers. I also make my teaching to be more interactive so as to engage the student in the learning process. I break my lesson into the main parts to give students easier understanding through creative and positive approach.
I work with the student mainly from grade 3 to 10 in the topics they are working on in class. Getting them prepared and confident for exams, test. By giving them quiz's and going through homework questions that they couldn't answer. Personally I find learning fun when its interactive and their is a good level of communication between the student and I.
My teaching methodology depends on number of student, courses and time. So it will not be constant and the same and will be changed as situation demanded.
my teaching methodology: learner centred and interactive. I let my students do as many practice exercises they could answer and I'll guide them through the lessons and we'll both try and work on it together. So we both learn from each other and figure out where the student is struggling.
my teaching is base on giving examples of our surrounding. i also believe in to clear the basic concept of any subject. i prefer to teach one or two student at one time so that you can do one on one conversation with them.
My teaching method is based from k to 12 curriculum since we already know about the curriculum. Curriculum refers to the lessons and academic content taught in a school or in a specific course or program.
My teaching methodology is unique. I catch up the weaker students and propose many daily life examples among students to make the subject easier for them. My students always remember me for making the subject simple. The intelligent students also enjoy a lot in my class to face many challenging questions and problems. I solve all the queries of students at the same time.
When is comes to tutoring, my approach will vary depending on my students/clients ability and needs. I personalise all my tutoring to best suit each and every individual. Individualised lessons are important, as learning mechanisms are complex and different for each individual. Therefore, a one size fits all approach to teaching and leanring is ineffective.
The most important teaching strategy for me is to create a supportive and encouraging environment for students, to help boost their confidence in asking questions.
I am a very practical person and as such I will always try and approach lessons in two ways. Applying the material to real world topics so it is more easily remembered and then by helping you to understand the key points of answering a question like this to maximise marks in an exam situation.
My teaching methodology is based on the needs of the student. I Always try to adjust to the individual and create the enviroment where Learning becomes easy, fun and in the same time all the important details are well understood.
I am a Graduate Chemist who has accomplished a Master of Chemistry in Melbourne Australia. The passion for this subject was the only driving force for me to pursue higher studies in the related discipline. I teach chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, mathematics. For the following level(s): primary school, early high school, year 10, year 11-12, TAFE.
My approach of topic normally is normally based on students' current area. For area of math, I will prepare for questions or rather answer and explain questions for my students. By utilizing graph, diagram and my own communication, I will deliver the idea of which the question points to.
I believe in understanding the content, not memorising it, because having an understanding of why something works makes it harder to forget and easier to apply. I like explaining content simply and using practice problems to cement understanding.
I normally teach then give out notes and finally i evaluate my students. if the are below average in the topic i gave out i will repeat the whole course.
I decide my teaching methodology after identifying the learning need of student and in consultation with parents, if required. I tutor kids from year 4 to 10(Maths and Science), HighSchool and VCE (Accounting and Basic Comptuers). I find out the requirements of the prospective student and what topics they would like to be covered in advance.
I prefer teaching one-on-one, but I can also teach to groups. I'll be handling the lessons based on the curriculum set by the school. I can teach in all levels, including primary, secondary and tertiary. I want to make learning a fun experience because I believe this helps the student to get better.
My teaching method is to focus on the weakness to improve it while enhancing the strengths. I am a heavy believer of practice makes perfect thus I tend to provide homework as well as assist students with their school homework.
My teaching method includes 1.5-hour sessions in which I go over essential theories, whilst providing invaluable tips on how to tackle problems efficiently. I will also provide 24/7 homework help in which students may message me to ask any questions they may encounter during the week.
I have taught a variety of students in my time as a tutor and what this has taught me is that every student is different. I structure my lessons for each individual because that is a necessity as no two students are the same. I believe communication between the student and tutor is key for the student to acquire the most out of their tutor.
I am passionate about mentoring those who want to gain a good understanding of the subject. I do so by gearing my style to the students learning style. I engage the students in their learning rather than command learning. I ensure that students have understood the topics presented before moving on. I welcome feedback from students if they would like me to do anything differently.
I believe in conceptual teaching and try to make the lectures interesting for students by quoting real life scenarios and case studies. I alter my teaching methodologies according to the strengths and weaknesses of the student.
I try to teach by giving relevant examples from daily life or co-relate the topic with their topic of interest so that they are attentive and understand fast.
I like to approach the topic by looking at the syllabus and trying to find creative ways to make remembering and understanding all the content easier. I am a firm believer in working smarter not harder and try to reflect this in my tutoring.
My teaching methodology depends on the quality and interest of the students. Some students prefer or need blackboard teaching and some others need multimedia.

Perfect! I would recommend this teacher. He is an excellent tutor
Perfect! Sjoerd has really helped with my chemistry, he is very patient and understanding. He will explain the problem until I understand. Each session becomes a little more understood and I even have a lot more motivation to study for organic chemistry.
Perfect! Remarks from my son Gabriel "She explains things clearly and gives enough questions to do. She is very patient and kind. She always asks you questions to make sure you do the work, and then she makes you do questions from what she taught."
Perfect! Jacob is an excellent tutor and I highly recommend him to anyone struggling with mathematics. Prior to lessons, Jacob has looked and worked through the content I am doing at school. This is so he could prepare modelling and problems solving...
