I am a PhD student in Chemical Engineering at ECU. Math and Chemistry is not that hard if you grasp the right method to learn it. For the learning of Math, the most important thing is to expire the interest of students. Then everything becomes easier with a opening mind and a willing to be better in that subjects. Chemistry is a subject which base on the experiments.
I am Jerlyn Lim and I graduated from Saint Ignatius' College in 2017. I am a highly motivated and reliable person who strives to do my best in every situation. I believe that working hard is essential but more importantly, studying smart. I will do my best to allow you to reach your full potential. I provide lessons that require you and I to work together.
Students are provided with one on one or group guidance to assist in improving their skills in Mathematics/Sciences. Students can gain the confidence to develop greater understanding in topics covered in school.
I am passionate about my subjects and I have a very thorough knowledge of them. As a teacher I am patient towards my students, where I make sure to lock down the theory and then give them HSC questions in class and as Homework as well as keeping up constant revision. Furthermore, I also work on answer layout, as presentation of your response is important in the HSC.
Hi, i am a nursing student aiming to help students upto high school in mainly their theoritical chemistry lessons. The reason for this is my keen interest in chemistry and moreover i like to be with kids .
Excellence through understanding. Experienced senior Teacher / University gives lessons in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics - Primary, secondary and university. Teaching all Maths areas , Physics, Chemistry Engineering, Science, ,,, all years. Perth West Australia. University researcher. 35 years + teaching, academic head , Head of Science, Teacher.
In maths, and senior science I make you understand from the bottom of the concept but not how to use formulae. You will enjoy the subjects and the concepts will stay in your brain for a long time. Understanding is essential in these subjects.
I believe in a simplistic and systematic teaching philosophy. It is my aim not to spoon feed students, however, to bring out their true potential. I work best with younger students (years 7-10) who are struggling with the basic concepts of maths and science.
My teaching method is a step by step illustrative lesson on each topic.I take my time ensuring the student is left well versed with the problem at hand.Using examples that are relatable to the student so that the person can easily grasp the subject.
I believe in teaching a concept well. Once you understand a concept, you can do everything around that concept. I don’t believe in memorising but I do have some great tricks to help you gain an ability almost identical to photographic memory.
Tutoring is ubiquitous. I recognise the importance of aligning their instruction with what's going on in the classroom. Teachers see their students every day, as do parents, so I myself who works 1:1 with a student even once per week for an hour needs to respect how much learning is being done when he or she is not around.
* Precious Self-Designed Notes * Organized & Systemic Learning * Understand Concept First * Problem-solving skills and time-management during exams are also improved Students are welcome to stay for longer for self-study or if they want to learn Chinese as well.
I am very flexible in the way that I approach problems, I shape my lessons around what the students / parents wish to accomplish, and am open to suggestions that they find work the best. I will introduce the topic to the student, have them go over it, learn it with my assistance, then sometimes do a short quiz / test to ensure that they understand the topic completely.
My teaching method learning by doing. I have experienced teachers that would just make me read the slides and expect me to remember random equations, definitions, and theories out of nowhere. Firstly, I will gain an understanding on where your knowledge is at and build from there.
I do not have a particular teaching method. I prefer to find out where the student is struggling and the adjust the teaching according to what is confusing them. I usually create worked examples detailing the steps required to solve particular problems that may be difficult to the student.
My teaching method is based on the students need. Most of my students, like to do every chapter in detail with me and at the end of each chapter, we even discuss the question given in the textbook. We make summary for all the chapter to make it easier in the exam point of view.
I aim to make my lessons interesting and as interactive as possible focusing on particular aspects the students are struggling with.
I'm creative and interactive and always look forward for an inquisitive student. My teaching method is discussion, which encourages a two way communication.I base my classes on the facts and well researched notes. Furthermore ,I approach every topic by first revisiting the previous concepts in order to facilitate seamless transition.
make connections between topics in separate subjects make judgements about the most appropriate methods for investigating a problem clearly explain their views or conclusions to people with different backgrounds think independently and flexibly take responsibility for continued learning use illustrations from real life, demos, and hands-on activities whenever I can.
I try to do home work or research for the topic i am going to start at school. My teaching pattern is starting from the group discussion which gradually follow to the topic student are going to learn. I always try to engage each kids so they do not get bored and always try to make topic interesting as much as can do.
I have experience as a tutor in India. I was worked in one reputed college as a guest lecturer in chemistry. if I get a chance to teach you I will provide all my knowledge on that subject.
I plan my work well in advance. I illustrate my lessons with the help of examples and power-point presentations. The lessons are quite interactive with equal participation of students so that they are not bored. Explanation to the problems using real life situations is my main focus.
My teaching method is to cater for the student. Ideally I will help with the student's issues that they are currently having in school. My philosophy is that a student has the potential to achieve great and the tutor's job is to encourage and guide the student to that goal.
For subject like Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, basics and concepts are important. My method of teaching is like getting the subject to real life. I expect students with any absorbing level. I will be available at flexible hours. Thank you.
My goals is to transform underperforming students to high academic achievers. I coach university students, high school and middle school student in vast science arears. I am organized, patient and dedicated to encouraging my students to achieve excellent grades. I live to inspire my students to be the best.
providing reading lists before classes start using a variety of teaching methods making lecture notes available before lectures clearly identifying key ideas in lectures and assignments drawing on the students’ own experiences being flexible with assessment methods setting clear expectations.
I am final year chemical engineering honours student at RMIT specialising in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I understand that different students have got different approaches to learning. My first one hour session is free of cost so that the student and I can connect to a level where we develop a mutual understanding.
Offering free first lesson trial I am passionate about teaching and willing to utilise my skills taught in my education degree to optimise learning and to teach topics effectively. I am aware of the Australian Curriculum and plan to design my lessons around this guideline.
be able solve critical thinking question and teach the simplest way to tackle the problem. More toward teach toward critical thinking rather than give answer straight away. My teaching structure gained from experienced lecturer at university of queensland. i also emphasize student to think and develop understanding about the problem.
I am super keen to help people succeed in maths. Together, we will work on problems to find a solution.
To be sure of your tutor's teaching and lesson quality when learning Chemistry. We collect authentic testimonials of former students, reviewed & guaranteed by Superprof.
Perfect! Jacob is an excellent tutor and I highly recommend him to anyone struggling with mathematics. Prior to lessons, Jacob has looked and worked through the content I am doing at school. This is so he could prepare modelling and problems solving...
Perfect! After only an hour with Morgan I have fullunderstood at least 2 weeks of work that was covered in class. Morgan's explanations of the topics that we went through were very clear and concise. She also made learning fun and applied real life examples...
