I base the course on the purpose of students, for example, if they wish to pass the exam, I will focus on exam techniques. My teaching philosophy is to "teach less, review more". I prefer to teach students how to effectively learn by themselves, and review the content I taught on class through some activities which can motivate them to participate.
To be quite honest, I don't really have a "teaching method". I'm the type of person to go with the flow and help where I can. I usually try to adapt to the child's way of learning, and how they find it easier to understand and do their work.
All of my lessons are individualised: at first, I will spend some time getting to know you and understand your goals, strengths, challenges and learning style. Broadly, I aim to ensure that the student has a sound understanding of the subject.
My approach is like using the English language as spoken everyday and of course spelling and the use of a dictionary to understand different meanings of "a word" as a word can have different meanings depending on how we say and use in a sentence.
My lessons will be revolved around any problems/struggles a student is having at school/generally with English.
I believe that we are all different, therefore, we learn in different ways. I like to adapt my lessons based on the students strengths and weaknesses. I like to use a lot of musics, didactic games, interesting readings/words activities.
My teaching method involves understanding the student and what he or she wants out of studying this subject (i.e good grades, a better understanding of the subject etc.) My lessons often include me checking on the weekly tasks I set (often quite small yet effective). After this, I go through the content with the student and work with them to see where they can improve their work.
I believe it is vital to understand all homework/learning problems and be flexible in managing each individuals strengths and weaknesses. I would begin addressing issues regarding concepts and ideas, then work on set tasks or additional work. Each student is different, therefore all lessons would be fixated on benefiting the student to suit their needs.
I would like to approach topics based on a student's capabilities, although normally I would go for teaching him/her the concepts, giving practice tests, and then reviewing his/her answers. However, I am willing to adjust to better cater my student's needs.
My teaching method has always been based on making the classroom a pleasant enviroment where students can learn while having a nice time. I focus on speaking even when I teach Grammar, and I link it with student's everyday life.
My teaching methods are interactive, communicative and student-friendly. I focus on those areas that are relevant to the student - speaking, listening, reading and writing. I provide creative and inspiring lessons and I am encouraging and motivating, helping you to improve your English skills.

One of my greatest strengths as an ESL Teacher is the ability to meet each student’s unique needs by having an in-depth understanding of their abilities and needs. I am passionate about teaching and forge relationships with the students that help build a sense of confidence and enable them to grow as learners.
I encourage exploration and fun while learning. It's also important to know the basics, then you can build your appreciation and understanding at the same time. I have a love of the English language, and I try to instill that same feeling in my lessons.
I teach with what my students find works for them. Some students prefer textbooks, others prefer conversation practice. I ensure that lessons are stress free, and make sure that my students love their lessons with me.
Qualified and experienced English Language and Business Studies teacher and Academic Manager possessing 12+ years extensive teaching and academic management exposure with ability to effectively communicate with students of diverse background and varying degrees of language ability.
My teaching method is interactive, challenging and fun. I usually begin a lesson with a warm up activity related to previous subjects we've learned together, allowing students to fully engage with me and the upcoming lesson. Post warm up activity, I make a list of questions to begin with the lesson, aquiring some pre knowledge from student, following a made up lesson with interative activities.
I like to create an environment where the students feel happy and confident to open up and speak English as much as they possibly can. I like to create scenarios that the students might encounter on a day to day basis to encourage them to broaden their vocabulary and confidence.
I aim to understand and work collaboratively with my students. We'll build on your strengths and get your English into shape! My methods are flexible to student needs - we can figure out what's best for you. I guarantee you'll find me patient, encouraging and approachable.
I would need to assess the students English level by reading comprehension, written skills, vocabulary in terms or oral language to determine the starting point that greatly benefit the learner. Lessons are usually of 40 minutes duration. I have 30 years of experience teaching students experiencing problems with expression/grammar/writing skills. Lessons are tailored to your needs which will be determined by us. Basic skills are vital before you can build your own skill set. Let's work together to make the basics of spelling, grammar, expression and comprehension second nature rather than a chore.
I base my lessons on goals that need to be met and choosing the best method to achieve these goals. Each person is unique and has a learning style they prefer. I like to tailor my lessons to the needs of the individual and often step outside the realm of traditional classroom to provide the best learning experience.
My teaching method is sharing and caring. I am going to share how I learned English as a second language and I am going to teach you with care. We are going to study together, putting time and effort. I can teach either in Korean or English.
I use collaborative learning, blogging, dictagloss, entertaining and authentic English videos (like movie trailers, music videos, news clips, inspiring talks and much more). current news articles, role plays, hands on activities ( cutting, pasting, coloring), making posters, and presentations, physical activities ( stand up, close your book, close your eyes, open your mouth... etc.
My teaching methodology and philosophy is always to enjoy learning. My lessons are always geared to my student's needs, but generally, they will include a sort of warm-up conversation or game, the main lesson or practice, and wrap up with either a review of the class or game to end the lesson on a happy note.
My classes are as fun as they are educational. I encourage my students to talk and to not be scared of making mistakes in a fun learning environment. Each lesson is designed to help strengthen my students' weaknesses. At the end of my lessons, I provide my students personlized advice on what they should focus improving on.
