The hardest part of teaching Chemistry is bringing the complex down to a level that students can grasp. Chemistry is mostly about learning skills, not facts. To successfully teach Chemisty, I use a mixture of lecturing, visual aids, demonstrations and hands-on activities whenever I can.
• Professional scientific writing and communication skills with a few scientific articles published in reputed journals (see attachment). • Experienced presenter at different conferences. • Proactive and highly-driven work attitude. • Ability to work both autonomously as well as part of a team.
Tutoring, for me, is more than just educating students, it's about really making a connection so that they truly care about what they're learning. I make this a reality by combining my knowledge with my out going and confident nature to really form this genuine connection.
As everyone learns in different ways. I believe that it is essential for quality tutoring to be tailored based on the individual needs of each student. I typically favour explaining the concepts behind why theories or phenomenon are as they are- I believe this makes topics far more intuitive and engaging.
In my experience, mastering chemistry requires dedication in order to understand the concepts, but the most difficult part is using your knowledge to answer questions. My lessons will provide extra support and explanation of any topics the student is struggling with, as well as a dedicated time period for working through questions and solutions.
I'm a hardcore, organised and kind teacher. I deliver my lessons tailored to suit the style of my students, and I'm looking for students who can give me their full attention and a commitment to learn. I believe in strong education and value based, long lasting, stress free learning.
My tutoring and teaching methods are usually one-on-one based and aim to encourage students to be self-motivated. I aim to clear students' confusion by answering their questions about difficult concepts. In addition, I ask them questions and have them explain the same concepts back to me, as this method helps students solidify their understanding.
From experience I believe it is important to have an open approach to teaching, in general we start by discussing and identifying the student’s strengths and areas to work on in the subject as well as what they feel would be the best teaching approach to take. It often involves working through and discussing problems together.
I first identify any areas that the student is having trouble with whilst also reinforcing already known content. I aim to cater to their specific type of learning whether that is visual, written, verbal etc and try to explain concepts in multiple ways and test it in different ways so that they can comprehend well.
My teaching methodology is to find what works best for each individual student. I achieve this by first understanding what the students goals are, and finding their learning style. I match my teaching to maximize the students understanding, and reinforce this by demonstrating teaching methods that the student can use on their own, regardless of subject.
I best teach my subjects by identifying what areas or concepts the student is struggling with and providing many examples of problems on these topics.

I am a hardworking and an ambitious student studying Master of Biotechnology at RMIT, Melbourne, Australia. My experience as a tutor has been a very memorable and a special one. My maths and science lessons will be geared for primary and secondary school students.
My main teaching methodology is that if to make knowledge digestible for students, we must be able to explain complex concepts in simple ways. I believe in hands on communicative teaching methods, with lots of practise.
I shall base on the students' textbook and what is taught at school in the week to explain and give exercises further on any difficult and important concepts for the students. The lesson is nothing more than just a conversation. Listening to students is vital.
It is flexible depending on the needs of students. I will test students the knowledge and give quizzes to make sure they have a good understanding of the class. I aim to improve your chemistry knowledge and expand your interest in chemistry.
I can simplify difficult concepts and encourage students to ask questions and make them understand subject matter in depth. I have studied in various countries including Australia so I have quite a bit of academic experience. I can also put in extra efforts at no cost to students.
Lecture must be coupled with tutorial and workshops. I would emphasize decentralization and interactive teaching methodologies. With group learning, student-driven group work/discussion is one my preferred leverage. To ensure that my students fully understand the concepts and practices, quick quizzes will be inserted along the sessions with mind map.
We will deal with school work simultaneously. I understand students and i hope i will be friendly in teaching .
I will direct you to the most important information as most of the information is totally waste while some of the information doesn't even appear in the books.
My teaching philosophy is to avoid spoon-feeding the mind of my students with the knowledge I need to deliver to them but enhance and improve the student’s ability to find this knowledge themselves. Therefore my duties are to: 1. Develop the students scientific research skills. 2. Guide the students to reach the knowledge in the proper way. 3.
My teaching approach for maths will be Q&A based, with the questions I will be covering the lesson. For science it will be lesson based and when necessary with Q&A. I will provide guidance to make your short notes to make you understand the basic concepts and remember everything taught. Basic concepts are the key.
My teaching methodology is based on the needs of the student. I Always try to adjust to the individual and create the enviroment where Learning becomes easy, fun and in the same time all the important details are well understood.
I like to know what the student(s) is interested on and discuss how strong is his/her background and accordingly address the topics he/she needs to reinforce.
I like to base my classes off of the topics which the students are currently learning or any other topics which students may need clarification with or want a deeper understanding in. I am to ensure that by the end of the lesson, students thoroughly understand the topic we've been talking about.
I begin my first lesson by getting to know my students (their interests, their confidence in the subject I'm teaching them, the way they learn best). When I start teaching the material, I start in areas where they feel they aren’t comfortable with. Using questions, I find out if they really do understand the concepts, and how they learn best.
My teaching involves rigorous training via group discussions, multimedia presentation and demonstration of scientific processes etc. depending upon the demand of that topic and need of student. I always encourage students to ask questions and project their view on the material we are covering and to summarize the whole discussion on paper in last five minutes.
Providing the students the opportunity to challenge themselves and grab the idea or a concept through a range of exciting, stimulating and thought-provoking activities. The collaboration is essential not only for me but also with the students as well; it is only after this experience that we were able to communicate effectively among ourselves.
I base my lessons on real world chemistry, to train intuition over rote learning. The focus is primarily on actual scenarios, and how each concept learned is used in today’s world. This provides a holistic understanding, where each gap can be noticed and fixed.
I am food and nutrition graduate who can provide lessons to university students related to chemistry, diet and disease, nutrition and health promotion.I can also teach basic computer skills like Microsoft word, excel and internet to people of all ages.I can teach to primary students in English, science.
