My teaching method includes explaining each topic first and then asking the student to read and ask for doubts. I also don't mind conducting doubt clearing classes beyond the regular class hours. My ultimate aim is always to make the student understand.
Active recall, creating task cards, visualisation, inquiry based instruction, behaviour management, professional development, cooperative learning and technology in the classroom
Lessons are structured by topic or by systems. This allows a flow to learning and allows the person to relate concepts to others easier. I adapt my teaching style to the needs of the student. Some people are visual learners, so using flow charts and pictures allows them to understand more. Some are better with words or flashcards.
My teaching method is to teach students how to simplify complex scientific concepts for easy understanding and to give worksheets, short notes and diagrams to ensure that the topic has been covered and understood with confidence.
I base my classes on the necessity of the student. Normally I have a first conversation to understand their targets and their needs. And We start together work in their main necessities and improve their knowledge that they already got.
My teaching method is to first assess and identify the weaknesses of the student by testing the student's understanding on the general broad range of topics. From this, I will come up with a focused lesson to teach the student the concepts.
I graduated high school with a 90+ ATAR and received academic scholarships to colleges in America as well as accepted into my university of choice in Australia.
I love teaching and have for many years, and am offering tutoring services while I complete my medical degree at the University of Western Australia. I moved to Perth in 2018 to study the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Western Australia. I'd love the opportunity to continue my teaching work in my new home.
My teaching methods are based on reflective discussions, innovative teaching strategies such as role plays, video based discussions, books related to the topic and quizzes.
My teaching method is directed towards each individual student independently. I personally am a visual learner and constantly make notes in pictures and diagrams to fully grasp the physiology of things. My lesson structure consists of me teaching for the majority of the lesson then, the student presenting the learned topics back to me to solidify the knowledge.
My teaching method is, explaining a concept, breaking it down into digestible pieces of content, with appropriate examples and work until we progress onto understanding the whole concept. I aim to have my students learn the content, and understand it, over just memorising it.
My teaching method is to identify the weak points of a student and focus my efforts there but also start from the beginning and make sure there are no misunderstandings in the students fundamental knowledge. I also want to make sure the student is able to identify key areas of knowledge and condense information to relative importance so they can study efficiently and effectively.
My teaching methodology involves using a copy of the curriculum and an understanding of the students weaker points to but small and achievable short term goals. I find many people struggle to grasp concepts because there is a lack of time dedicated to building the context or narrative structure around the subject matter.
My teaching method is to clear the base of the topic for students, make them understand the particular topic in a way individual student can understand.I like students making notes of what is taught to them so that they try to make their own answers for the studied topic.
If you don’t like a subject, you can’t learn it. I am here to tell you how our subject is related to the exciting parts of our lives and why does it matter. Learning must be a fun experience. We will understand the subject together and then answering the practice questions will become easier than we thought.
My teaching method is simple yet affective. By showing a keen interest in science myself, it encourages the student to remain engaged for longer periods of time. I am respectful and compassionate, realising that everyone has their own learning style and differences in learning ability. Consistent feedback and praise is incredibly important, and also encouraging.
I'm a visual learner so I like to teach with either videos or drawings.
My main goal as a teacher is to promote understanding and not just passing for the sake of the grade. I believe when one doesn't understand something its mainly because of a missing link, i work with students to ensure that the flow is constant as sciences is all about joining the dots.
I am a methodical teacher, I identify weaknesses and place a heavier focus on them while still consolidating areas already known to the student. I like to engage students and teach in a way that interests the individual. I do this by getting to know the student as a person briefly before we start so that I know what works best for them.
My teaching method is such that I cover basics first. I believe that without basic foundations, there is no point in delving into harder applications. So, first, we will make sure you understand every concept thoroughly, and then we will focus on how to answer every possible exam question. This will enhance knowledge.
I am geared to students who feel that they are being left behind. My approach to teaching is to not just teach a topic but to try and introduce a new way of thinking about a subject so that going forward, there is a broader understanding of subject. Then the students are able to apply this to better absorb new concepts. So there is less spoon feeding and more of an engagement of the mind.
I like to break down major topics into smaller ones, especially by making dot points within sub categories. I also like using videos to explain topics when I think they are better described using illustrations, for all highschool students.
My lessons are personalised to the need of the student. Typically this includes multiple explanations of concepts in different ways, question-answer based learning and teaching my students how to apply their knowledge in exam and real life situations. Use of diagrams an anaolgies are common in my lessons to cater for visual learners.
My teaching method is giving relevant examples for better understanding of the topic.
I like to teach using visual methods including, but not limited to, lecture summaries, schematics and mind mapping. I will ensure each tutoring session will be tailored to the student based on their preferred study method.
I believe the formula for teaching lies within understanding the student and where they struggle. Therefore, I would work toward identifying the students strength and weakness and developing an effective and constructive work plan to overcome this.
I tackle each concept not as a whole, but in smaller pieces to allow my students to fully grasp the details, hence making it easier to understand the concept in the big picture. I teach in a casual and non intimidating manner allowing my students to feel comfortable.
I’m not entirely sure exactly but I would imagine it would change from person to person as everyone learns differently and at a different pace. I would probably start with finding out about how much is not understood or needs work and how someone learns (visually, written, verbally, etc.) and draw up a lesson plan from there.
I offer guidance with homework as well as over the phone help when students need it. I understand the workload that students receive from the school and I can help them plan out assignments which must be completed or help them study for upcoming tests. Not only this but I also provide a ground for understanding for students who might be struggling with understanding key concepts.
My teaching methods vary from unit to unit . it includes various techniques such lecture, smart class, use of different audio visual aids, game based learning, practical based theory classes etc. Each method depends upon the topic and student learning skill.I proceed to next topic after the complete learning of the last topic.
