My teaching methods are systematic, effective and robust. Lessons are structured using learning objectives that tailor with students' needs and knowledge. I use visual aids and diagrams to help improve understanding of basic science knowledge. On-the-spot quizzes and tests are essential as part of teaching methods to ensure excellent understanding and maximum retention.
I am a teacher by gut. it comes to me naturally and is my passion. I believe in holistic and interdisciplinary based study. I can quickly measure a student's wavelength and try to match my frequency with his. My mode of teaching covers both extrinsic and intrinsic nature of the topic.
My teaching methodology is to impart to my students valuable hacks. I give you want you can’t get yourself, my experience. I just show my students what they should look for and what they should look out for.
Prior to each lesson, I tailor them to the student and their needs according to that week. Sessions may take up to two hours where the first hour consists of my structured teaching, followed by the second hour where they bring in their own work for me to draft, explain or clarify any vague areas.
I'd like to approach topics by explaining core definitions from the textbook, followed by using images and videos to strengthen students' understanding. I'd like to do brief revision at the end of each session to make sure that students have absorbed the knowledge.
HI, my name is Zachary Patelis! I love medicine and the human body and i'm sure you do too and that's why your here!! I am aimed at students wanting to pursue medicine ! I teach all ages!!! Learning structure: (at your own pace) -chemistry -biology -physiology (+ extra) -anatomy (+ extra) -pathophysiology (+ extra) -pharmacology (+extra) you can contact me at (concealed information)
I base my classes on your needs, whether it is test preparation, writing assignments or learning the content early. I have plenty of support material from notes, practice tests and past exams to exemplars of practicals in the A band.
I prefer to teach using diagrams and flow charts, starting from the main title itself and branching into the subtopics under them, and slowly approaching the details of every subtopic. I find it beneficial in terms of creating lasting memory of the subject.
I approach by understanding what method the student is able to grasp well and quick , for eg. still visuals, audial, motion pictures etc. and focus on their weakest understood concepts apart from covering all the content.
I completed by undergraduate at UWA in Perth, have just moved to Adelaide to start postgraduate medicine at Flinders. My tutoring style is geared for more visual learners who love flow diagrams and mind maps. I believe that all learning should be aimed at long term retention rather than cramming, and that practice questions and drawing out theories and concepts is the best way to learn.
My teaching method is very hands-on where I ask the student which are their weak areas or topics they would like to improve upon in a subject and then work together with them in completing assignments or exercises to further improve their knowledge on the subject
my teaching method would be using visual techniques as well as structuring the content into terms the children are able to comprehend and visualise or understand. I also prefer one on one lessons as that allows me to dedicate sufficient time and tailor the lesson accordingly.
The modus operandi of our coaching is student friendly and cater all their academic needs. We strive to improve practical cognizance of the student along with providing stupendous theoretical knowledge. Student satisfaction is our motto.100% clarity of concepts is guaranteed.
I am not tutoring anyone as a teacher but I will put myself in your position, a student, as how I was in year 12. Learning can be a little bit difficult and I'll ask you to tell your understands before going into the lessons. If I find that you don't quite understand and you're a bit confused, I'll correct you on the way. If you don't get the whole concept, that's ok! I am here to help.
My teaching pedagogy is science. I use hands on approach, demonstrative and activity method to teach it. Use of ICT is must. Holistic approach is followed to help develop the knowledge and not rote memorise it.
I approach tutoring as a way of developing interest and understanding in a topic rather than just focusing on grades. This ensures that students will not only enjoy the process of learning more but they will retain more information and develop skills to help them learn more effectively in the future.
My teaching method is to first identify students aspirations then work towards structuring the lessons in a manner that enables students to achieve their goals in steps. Lessons will be dynamic and catered according to student needs and delivered in a fun educational manner.
I like to have an agenda for the class. I am quite a visual learner so my methods involve drawing pictures and visualising things through textbooks and videos.
My method of teaching would involve working through homework problems with the student as well as more fun ways of learning such as building a section of DNA, as interactive learning is always more effective than passive learning. Ideally, I would like to see the students curriculum to ensure I am working in with this.
My teaching method completely depends on the student as I believe everyone learns differently and have their unique way of understanding topics. I would usually teach the first class as a trial and understand what method would be best for my student eg- some student are visual learners while others aren't so I approach topics in a way that is easier for the student.
I offer one to one tutoring for high school students are struggling with biology or concerned about upcoming exams
I realize that every student may require a different teaching approach and I am more than happy to cater to each student individually Open to supplying own materials and working off school/uni work Happy to give a crash course before exams :)
I prefer to base my teaching methods based on my student's requirements. selecting topics and areas they find difficult and using various explanations to clear any questions. Being an exam based subject, I prepare questions and exercises, that allow them to get used to exam style answers. Moreover, i am also willing to look over practical reports.
I like to make learning a fun experience, so I tend to colourcode information, and create mnemonics to assist in remembering otherwise complex information. I also try to simplify information and relate it to real life examples to aid in understanding difficult concepts.
My teaching method is using Audio Visuals Presentations, Lecture Method and Discussion Method. I formulate objectives and prepare a lesson plan for target group. I plan activities which makes topic interesting. I also plan assessment at the end of lecture.
I like to engage students as much as possible and avoid lecturing. This helps make lessons more interesting, lets the students guide what they want to learn most and helps me check their understanding of the content as we go. I aim to build the students' confidence in whatever subject area we are covering, as I firmly believe confidence is one of the best motivators for learning.
I have tutored individuals in the past, and enjoy integrating knowledge into practical scenarios to help students understand content in more depth.
I am a recent Uni grad so all my knowledge is fresh and current. I have just left the tertiary education system so can prepare students looking to attend Uni for whatever it is they are requiring. My lessons are aimed more at High School students that need extra support with subjects, concepts or methods that they are simply not understanding.
