I prefer learning on the go, so we both pick a paragraph from a novel and as we read through it together I can pick up any vocabulary you’re uncomfortable with and explain it’s usage, meaning and context. Language is easier to understand when everything is placed in context.

The methodology to be used will be discussed with the student on the first assessment to identify their level, preferences and goals. I want my students to have fun and encourage them to speak as much as they want. If you're shy, that's ok. We'll work on something else until you're ready. If you have a problem or any questions, then you can ask at anytime. If you want to focus on something specifically, no problem. If I can't answer you right away, I'll find the answer for you.
I believe education is about drawing out from the student, thus my approach is beginning with the knowledge base of the student and picking up in a timely manner along with slowly boasting confidence levels of the student. My experience in the educational sector qualifies me uniquely to be relative in my teaching approach and cater to student's requirements and design learning methods accordingly.
I prefer to teach students with reporting/data problems they currently have, thereby making the teaching more "relevant" and much more likely for what is learnt to "sink in". Learning how to ask Excel to do the hard work for you (with coding) and then just massaging the macros to make things work is really as simple as seems.
I prefer to teach students with reporting/data problems they currently have, thereby making the teaching more "relevant" and much more likely for what is learnt to "sink in". Learning how to ask for data in just the right way can be difficult. There are some simple tricks that can be learnt.

I base my classes on building technique from the start so that students don't injure themselves during practice performance. I teach in a multitude of styles including rock, pop, jazz and classical. I believe that students should have the freedom to choose styles that suit them but will also challenge them to step outside their comfort zones.
My teaching method is to create a solid foundation that can then be built upon. I start with the basics but tailor my lessons to the interests and needs on my students. If student need help with instrumental composition I will teach them techniques that will be useful to them.

When I teach a normal hip-hop class, I like to spend some time on technique and some time on learning a routine. My routines are always catered to the students' skill level and I have an emphasis on performance quality. Lessons would be 60 mins. and include grammar awareness, pronunciation and provide error correction for both writing and speaking. My lessons would also be personalised, fun and motivating. Learning by practising and doing it hands on but especially understanding what it is being played. Flamenco could be a challenge to learn but once the basics are understood, the rest just flow. Theory and practise are always together with the joy of the learning process.
