I am very patient when it comes to teaching music to students, I always take baby steps in order to make the student feel confident learning the instrument and have the clear mindset to learn and practice.
I am a full time Uni student completing a double major in Socio Legal studies and Asian studies at the University of Sydney. I am a very patient teacher. I have always imagined what it would be like to have a tutor/teacher that is able to tailor their teaching methods to my personal needs and as such have always been of that mindset when I teach others.
My classes are always student-centric and activity oriented, whether that be small conversation groups of writing classes. I believe that the best classes are ones where there's as little actual lecturing as possible. Instead, I think it's important for students to interact with each other and the teacher as much as possible by focusing on group work and activities that require interaction.
A lesson with me is a fun experience as I explain new concepts and then work on practical tasks together.
