My teaching method is a traditional one that considers the basic of the music theory and practice. The practice is a vital part of the learning journey. And in order to maintain proficiency it is better to start exercise with your favorite piece of music that makes you really passionate to perform it by yourself.
I don't really have a methodology as every student has their own way of learning but the approach i take while teaching is being patient and trying to understand the pace and skills of each student's learning. If a student asks me to explain the stuff once or 50 times, i would do it happily as my main aim is to help them with the topic they are with.
I used to try combination of CLT and grammar teaching methods to demonstrate my teaching because i think that first thing is to understand student's skills and then apply the appropriate method according to student's comfort and level of skills.
