My name is Gleb, I'm from Russia. Now I'm studying math at ANU Mathematical sciences institute. As a native speaker I give Russian language lessons to a wide range of students in Canberra and suburbs. Methodology will vary depending on your needs (from oral speech training to literature reading).
My students come from all walks of life. And I have realised over the year that the practice has to fit the student, not the other way around. So working with me is a very personal experience and very specific to your needs and abilities.
I am an experienced educator with postgraduate qualifications. I like to teach both individuals and groups, secondary or tertiary level students and other people looking to boost their skills. My lessons are interactive and focus on practical exercises and achievement of results.
My teaching philosophy is student-centred. I try to create a relaxed environment in which the learner feels comfortable enough to try their best. I also like to research and prepare exercises myself to meet the needs of the student. I have experience helping learners with academic English, business English, English grammar/ pronunciation and proficiency exam preparation.
I have a very learner-oriented approach and tailor my lessons to the target areas that are unique to the individual. My ultimate mission is to develop the writing and critical-thinking skills of my students, while unlocking their creativity and giving them the confidence to approach challenges with a winner mindset.
My method of teaching (after getting down all the basics like alphabet, basic greetings etc.) is to make sure a student is comfortable in the holy trinity of learning. Comprehension, communication and analysis. Therefore, my method is more suited for adults and young adults. I wont lie and say that I can effectively teach children, but I wouldn't decline an offer either.
My teaching is extremely hands on, I believe that - as with all creative arts, but especially pottery, practice makes perfect- so lets get making!
I take a practical, visual methodology towards learning, involving lots of hands on work, visual explanation and feedback to improve outcomes.
I focus on a student-centred approach within all my lessons. This means the needs and interests of each student is carefully considered when planning my lessons. I will track your progress carefully to ensure you are meeting your learning goals whilst making every lesson an enjoyable interaction.
My teaching methodology comprises of the following key points: 1. assess the student's analytical ability and aptitude in terms of his/her current capacity; 2. prepare tailored lesson to be easily understandable; 3. evaluate performance and fix the lacking on continuous basis; 4. gradually put him/her to the advanced level.
My teaching method is merely centred around the pupil. I identify his flaws and strengths in the language as well as in the way he likes to learn and I will adopt a teaching that will fit his particular needs since every person learns a language in a different manner.
I am a international student from Spain, i am studying hotel management and also i enjoy teaching, Spanish is a powerful language and everyone should learn it!
I usually am very focused on comprehension and the ability to express yourself well enough to be understood at first. As a student, I know I found the more fun and entertaining the lessons were, the more focused I was too. I think it's important to introduce students to the culture, were it through books, movies, series or generally just discussing cliches we may have about France especially.
My teaching methodology is a combination of holistic singing technique and Traditional Italian bel canto methodology - singing in your self on your breath, letting the breath do everything.
I like to be organized and explain any topics or concepts in stages- starting with the definitions and then application. Depending on the subject, I like to solve several questions of different formats until the concepts become clear. I like the lesson to be smooth, but I also love honesty and appreciate feedback.
My teaching method will be quite specific to the individual student. While I'm happy to set out a general structure for a lesson based on the current curriculum I will look predominantly to tailor my lesson to the needs of the student. I'm flexible in my teaching.
My teaching method is both patient and interactive! I encourage students to learn using real life applications of language. I believe that everyone learns at their own pace and that lessons should be specifically tailored to meet each students individual needs.
I base my methods on the natural languages approach in addition to a focus on grammar. I have found this the most instructive method.
My teaching method involves focusing on the individual characteristics of each student doing my best to keep them motivated while challenging them at the same time. I base my classes on Portuguese books for internationals, trying to create personal lessons according to the level of the students.
Each day presents something new, so keeping the components real, with the people present, at basics, that each may comprehend naturally. May be activity, writing, movement...
Depending on the level required I tailor classes to suit each individual, from basic reading and comprehension to more advanced writing and critical analysis. Oral expression is the key to success. Different learning methods will be used depending your learning style and ability. I am patient and creative, able motivate students to achieve their goals.
I give equal amounts of attention to my students. I do not spoon-feed them. The way I teach is I show it to them once and let them do it by themselves the next round. Making mistakes are completely fine as long as they do not repeat them multiple times.
I tailor my teaching to suit the individual. I assess their needs and their strengths, creating tasks and activities which engage them personally and provide rewarding experiences. I supervise homework in a way that encourages the student to be more independent.
My methodology is based on didactics, that is, on learning-doing, learning-playing. This is the only way that knowledge is not forgotten and children want to continue learning, until they are curious about what I am teaching. Para mi es aprender-jugando, aprender-haciendo.
My teaching method is enjoying the music and playing music. Practice makes perfect. I will base on your level to decide which kind of learning programme fits you.
I approach topic by giving real world examples and practically helping students to develop programming apptitude and use optimized solutions. I can help students to learn programming with conceptual parts of programming language. I can help students to make projects on Java j2ee platform using spring and hinernate.
I have helped students from all levels, ages, and backgrounds. I prefer unstructured lessons that flow naturally to satisfy the curiosity of learners. In case of advanced levels, I focus on writing skills and pronunciation. If the student is a beginner, I shift the focus towards the basics.
If you want to learn using by book, it's ok I think basic is very important whenever studying languages. So I will start basic grammer and word, but it's not boring and long term period I can teach you easily to remember.
I design my approach based on individual student’s needs.
My classes are based on the student's needs and level of language comprehension. Depending on the level, it is convenient to make a lot of use of oral and grammatical expressions, with simple examples and files to study. Normally I do a small initial exam to know the level and agreement with the student's objectives.
