Scott's teaching methods draw from many world drumming traditions. Learning how to speak rhythms and internalize them is an eastern approach from the Arabian and Indian percussive traditions. Western traditions of drumming notation are included for modern/ contemporary music performance.
I like to incorporate theory based learning with practical learning as much as possible. I also feel that it is important to know the WHY as well as the HOW when it comes to learning. I am flexible and very open to new styles of learning and also tailoring learning to the individual to achieve the best outcomes.
A no-pressure atmosphere and full of practices are parts of my teaching methods. I always consider myself as a co-learner with my students and we got to keep sharing and learning from each other. I don't mind working with a beginner.
My teaching style is Hatha based. I was fortunate to study privately with my teacher whom studied in India for 30 years - 15 year with B.K.S Iyengar of Iyengar yoga and for another 15 years with K.Pattabhi Jois creator of Ashtanga yoga. These are my influences. My teaching style is professional and focused. I take a more serious approach to health and wellbeing, but a few laughs never go astray.
My teaching method is flexible, what I mean here is I have my own session plan each time before the class, but the sequence can be changed if there is any special needs from the students, such as if the majority of the class want to have more hip opener practice today, then hip opening postures will be added in more if there is not enough in my plan.
After 12 years of experience, and having taken lessons myself, I understand the stresses and difficulties new and intermediate players can face when playing the guitar. I aim to help students in a casual and relaxed teaching style that involves simple to understand concepts, advice on form, and an emphasis of student choice in song and style learning.
As a teacher, I have a strong desire to educate young minds. I strive to meet students' individual needs and differentiate where possible. I take great pride in being able to quickly build rapport with students of all ages and abilities. I have experience teaching Prep to VCE. My specialist area is Psychology, however, I also have experience teaching French and the Visual Arts.
My classes are based on speaking. I really believe that speaking in a way that the student can understand is the best way to learn the language. Also, reading is important since vocabulary and grammar are combined to give the best understanding of the language. Obviously, we must not forget that practical grammar exercises are often crucial to ensure a prosperous learning of spanish.
My teaching method is to encourage student to be interested in English. I will ask students to motivate themselves through the learning process, such as making their own learning objectives, and choose the exercises that they wish to do. Besides, they need to think out their own learning methods.
I will have my lesson plan ready and like every student prefers, I would like to be a teacher who is well prepared before every class. I would love to incorporate various resources that includes writing, reading, listening and watching as different individuals have different ways of grasping information.
To understand our passion. How to understand the market vibe and loop it with our passion. Networking techniques . Time management and its importance . Ending up in the right track with interesting career.
I base my classes on first hand direct feedback. I assist students to understand their learning styles, capabilities and communication techniques allowing them to understand content and information more effectively. I provide clarity and direction in classes.
it really depends on the students, I can be firm with a child if they are mucking around (as safety in the water is very important) but if a child is shy or scared I can be quite soft. I am also trained to be focused on technique more so than water safety but I can provide water safety in the pool.
I believe in learning by doing. I am happy to procure the material required for learning as well. I try to make the learning as easy and comprehensible as possible. No extra works and the learning wont feel like a burden.
My main priority is to teach the students the language and not teach a language to the student. Thus the focus of learning is on the student learning language and not just teaching what is in the book in front of the student. Thus mean I am a very patient teacher in making sure that the student grasps and understands the matter at hand.
I believe that my teaching method is quite unorthodox as I base my classes on my past experience in French schools in terms of learning style. With my students, I aim to follow said french curriculum to see their strengths and weaknesses and to help them narrow the gap between them and French students their own age in France.
For beginners: I start off with a surf safety session which includes; •Water skills •What to do in tricky situations •Where to paddle out •Surf etiquette •How to duck dive After this we move onto the fun stuff, but it is very important to for a beginner to feel comfortable in their surroundings.
My method of teaching is student centered approach to learning. My teaching method is more like giving real time examples while teaching a subject. Students play an active and participatory role in their own learning. They are encouraged to ask questions while learnig.
All my lessons focus on developing the key language skills of speaking, reading and writing. I will provide relaxed classes which focus on building your confidence in using your English.
I use a mentored approach when pushing athletes to there potential. Different athletes, especially children, have different motivators and stress that demotivates them. Ability to learn this from my students has made me be able to push students to there potential without breaking their will to perform better.
I want to teach, what I want to learn. It should be challenging but also have have a balance. In pilates our strenght component comes first teaching you to engage the right muscles, finding the right posture preventing injury. Working with the body you have today to improve it for tomo.
I don't follow any specific method, I like to teach a language by practicing it regularly with the students.
My tutoring is targeted towards primary aged students who might be struggling with grammar, punctuation, or written expression. I engage students in fun, visual and interactive activities to ensure that they not only know correct English, but can understand and utilise it effectively.
My teaching method is hands on. I like to get my beginner students to learn basic chords/beats and to some easy songs first and then introduce them to theory and music notation slowly to keep them interested and having fun. I find my method works well and 90% of my students progress rapidly.
My teaching method would depends on the student. Some require an whole run through while some catch on quick so I would do both processes so all students are covered. I would prepare before my class and have a schedule of what I will be going through while in class.
- Practice conversing in Chinese - its the most efficient way of learning chinese. - Practice writing Chinese characters. Its old school but sometimes old is still gold. - Having conversational tests - Going through Chinese news articles and introducing interesting aspects of Chinese culture.
- Explanation of concepts using whiteboards, videos, pictures and diagrams - Relating the relevance of learnt knowledge to real life situations. E.g. Dropping an apple on the floor activates enzymes that changes the taste of the apple. Therefore a dropped apple tastes different to an apple that was not dropped.
