I approach each class differently depending on the children I am teaching. Age and level of difficulty always comes into affect. I always try to make it a fun environment while pushing them to be the best dancer they can be.

My teaching method is tailored to the student. Some students come to me with a very specific taste in music and like to talk about their passion and guide the lesson through their interest. I always employ the 'I do, we do and you do' method of teaching. I also provide students with an MP4 of the song they are learning so they can take it away and practice in between sessions.
Normally, I am approached by clients for a massage or yoga session one on one which tends to progress to a deeper level as we discuss health issues, psychological problems etc, wherein generally we proceed to have further sessions based around wellbeing counselling and learning what supports them best on a dietary and physiological level.

I prepare work folders for students and each session we focus on a specific topic. I focus strongly on speech as this is obviously the most important once one is immersed in a french environment.

Whenever I teach I try to personalise my methodology as much as possible to the makeup of the class. Everybody is different and respond and learn from different types of stimuli, it's important to cater to differences otherwise proper learning will not be done.

Practical teaching style with project-based lessons. The aim is that the student will be given a project to be completed under the guidance of the tutor. At the end of the course, the student will have a completed game or website.

For young kids I will teach by playing games. For teenagers I will follow the class routine but I will also incorporated lessons and exercises directly from French Education system.
I like to personalise my teaching method for each student. Each student has their own flare and own personality that shows in the instrument. I want to encourage students to find their own musical personality and to allow that to influence everything they play, whether it be scales/warm ups or pieces. As well as pieces, we will work on scales, posture, breathing, timbre, embouchure, and much more.
