My teaching method is student-centred and holistic. I understand that each student is unique and brings a range of skills, abilities and struggles to their education. I learn the specific ways in which individual students flourish and their behavioural patterns which hold them back.
I love teaching one-on-one. In my teaching, when children are taught something new, it is the best time to consolidate their knowledge by teaching what they learnt to other people or through large number of practice. For instance, when we just learn a Mathematic formula, we can consolidate this knowledge by doing more questions relating to this.
I like to target areas in which the students highlight on their own as a weakness. Once these weakness are established, one is selected for the lesson. Firstly, the fundamentals will be gone over in depth before working through problems (external problems and problems given in class) . After this, any problems the student is stick with in school will also be explained.
As a teacher I would want to engage in some very casual and fun sessions ensuring you're comfortable and enjoying yourself while developing your skills and technique. Starting off there would some general skill drills to evaluate any flaws in the technique and what can be improved and then more focused drills resulting from that.

Some practices are also needed to further improve understanding and speed when doing the calculations. Practices also enable students to know a wider range questions with different calculating methods.
I base my classes on trying to figure out what the students lack in and increase their exposure to different kinds of literature available. For example, the students that I taught had trouble writing Chinese composition because they had a limited vocabulary and phrasings. Thus， I decided to bring in different types of literature available from the school library or from my own home.
I would consider the current Chinese level of the student and the Chinese lessons given by the school to make an easier structure for student to learn Chinese. My teaching methods are first to explore the student about what are his/her strong and weak aspects and work accordingly. I focus on the conceptual knowledge moreas it is important in long run and by doing so the student also remmembers the topic for muc longer time.
