Part of being a guide is understanding the person's level of ability to grasp knowledge is very important. Guiding them through practical projects is the way to explain the difficulties and techniques for better understanding. Everyday learning is important for the growth of knowledge.
I like to adapt my teaching style to best help the student learn. I can teach visually, verbally, or through oral explanations. I have made many study games and guides. I am particularly adept in helping students prepare for exams and tests, as I have tutored US high school students on their college admission exams for years.
My method of teaching is student centered approach to learning. My teaching method is more like giving real time examples while teaching a subject. Students play an active and participatory role in their own learning. They are encouraged to ask questions while learnig.
My teaching methodologies are child friendly. I believe that I am only a facilitator who facilitates learning. Therefore, I mostly prefer group discussions, grammar games, role plays and songs to teach. I also make sure that there is joy in the class room without which children will be unable to give their best.
I teach through a more visual approach. I explain things by acting it out and drawing to explain what a word means or a sentence. Learning through speaking, writing and reading to approach difficult words and or confusing grammar or sentences is an approach I take to ensure that my students understand.
My teaching method would depends on the student. Some require an whole run through while some catch on quick so I would do both processes so all students are covered. I would prepare before my class and have a schedule of what I will be going through while in class.
- Practice conversing in Chinese - its the most efficient way of learning chinese. - Practice writing Chinese characters. Its old school but sometimes old is still gold. - Having conversational tests - Going through Chinese news articles and introducing interesting aspects of Chinese culture.
- Explanation of concepts using whiteboards, videos, pictures and diagrams - Relating the relevance of learnt knowledge to real life situations. E.g. Dropping an apple on the floor activates enzymes that changes the taste of the apple. Therefore a dropped apple tastes different to an apple that was not dropped.

I base my classes on how advanced the student is, if you are a beginner we start at the beginning, if you are more advanced we will start with more difficult steps.
My teaching method is generally aiming to involve my students. I work with the pace of the average students, that's is not too fast nor too slow. I involve groups discussion and one on one consultations for my students. I have questions after every unit. I involve practices in my lessons to enable my students understand better.
