Over the years, I have had the opportunity to develop my personal teaching philosophy and methods. I consider that the writing and oral components constitute the foundational framework of L2 learning.
My teaching method is pretty laidback, and is geared towards high school and uni students. I structure sessions based around YOU. We'll figure out what areas you need help in the most, and we will focus on those more.
I believe in an ESL class that students should do most of the talking (so long as it's relevant!). Role-play and group discussions play a major role in classes for teenagers and for younger children I use lots of games and songs. I always start a lesson with a game (no matter the age) to recap the information learned in the previous lessons.
I approach topic by a combination of dynamics (pragmatic methodology) with children, easy games, storytelling and a mutual feedback at the end of the lesson. The starting point is getting to know their wishes and needs to attend to the types of intelligence and work on it.
let student gain awareness of the topic.... provide them with knowledge.....let them to manipulate those knowledge....create an environment to design something new from it.....associate the familiarise things on every hypothesis to make student have better understanding of the topics... focus to give core concept.
I teach the class on the basis of practice and using formulas. I basically tell the name of the scientist who derived the formula and write it down then tell them to remember it as it is important for mathematical calculations. After that it is easy to work on the numerical problems.
I like to plan my lessons, I will ask you before I arrive to let me know the topics which you are struggling with and would like me to go over with you. I have a fun, active, and multimodal approach to teaching and learning. I make sure my students are not left feeling that they don't understand the topics that I teach.
I like to make sure that I know exactly what the person I am tutoring wants to get out of the lesson, I like solving problems and providing answers. I will make sure that there is a way to learn and understand the things that I teach and change my teaching method to suit my students.
Thanks to my 15 year stay in the UK, I am well-versed in almost all cutting-edge methods of teaching Greek (both Ancient and Modern).
My methodology is simple, let's relax. After the ice is broken, I use the pedagogical method of I say, You say, We say! I find repetition is the best method of learning.
To learn a language you must immerse yourself in the language and culture. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student, communication is the key! In my lessons, we look at key structures and phrases and focus on vocabulary and grammar.
My lessons are almost always tailored to meet the needs of my students. This only changes with regards to group learning, where individual needs are taken into account, but cannot be prioritised due to numbers. However, I like to encourage my students to enjoy their learning and remove the fear and shame from the learning process.
My teachings are very interesting and engaging . children love to study and learn more in depth knowledge in my classes.
My teaching method is patient explanation of the concepts, with lots of concrete examples and case studies. I often use diagrams to help explain ideas. Memorable stories and examples are often used too.
My teaching lessons are build on using the new language as much as possible. Speaking is the main part but writing down sentences and word constructions is important too. I want my students to understand how the language works and how to use it in their daily lives. I'm not a big fan of rote learning which might slow down the progress a bit, but at least my students learn the language probably.
My classes include engaging interactions, quizzes, daily practice assignments if required, practicals if applicable. I have a unique and unconventional method of approach. I put special emphasis on critical thinking and imagination. I like putting in fun elements in the class. I even prefer teaching outdoors.
I would empower my students by engaging with them in real life application examples so that learning becomes fun and more enjoyable for them. Customizing and modifying lesson plans and question papers to meet the learning needs of the students has been of prime importance to me.
My teaching method is to cater to the individual needs of each student. I tend to lean towards hands on approaches. During my first lesson, I will focus on asking my student about their personal interests and areas of strength/ need. We will use this information to set growth goals. Ex: In the next 4 weeks I will be able to add within 120 by playing math board games twice a week for 1 hour.
I am a very enthusiastic and passionate psychology lover, and I enjoy both learning and teaching psychology. I am competent in both year 11 and year 12 psychology and I understand that psychology is a subject that requires active interaction and visual representation.
I'm a very upbeat tutor who believes that learning is best done interactively, such as through role performances, discussions and reflections (with yourself and the environment that shapes our understanding). As someone who has done literature, I found that learning Literature through high school alone can be quite intimidating because the method of teaching is very one sided.
I do teach together and individually. At first, I individually understand each student approach to the subject and provide suitable assistance and support to help them understand the concept in a much better and simpler way.
I try to make my lessons relevant to the real world. I do this my using examples from my extensive professional IT experience. I like using group learning and partnering in the classroom, as this is often the way that the "real world" works and students seem to respond to sharing their insights and skills.
I usually try to develop an understanding of what my students require and then structure my lesson plan accordingly. I am a great communicator and try to build rapport with my students to empathize with their requirements so that I can encourage their growth and development in each step of the way.
My methodology is quite flexible and is based on your needs as a student. I understand that everyone has different ways and speeds of learning and this is something that I have acknowledged in the past in tutoring. My lessons are geared towards students who are struggling in history or are doing well and want that extra boost to their final mark.
My lessons are geared towards high school, years 7-12, who are looking to improve their essay writing and their ability to complete assignments related to the literature they are reading. My lessons are quite flexible as I understand that students learn material at different rates. My lessons will be geared to the students needs.
My approach to teaching is derived from my ability to communicate well with my students. I do my best to differentiate how I deliver content based on how my students learn most effectively. I always ensure that whoever I am helping has a full understanding of the content before moving on to the next stage, and that the information being delivered is relevant and relatable for them personally.
I'm enthusiastic about seeing students achieve! I start by asking the student about their strengths, weaknesses and interests, then I will try to taylor my lessons accordingly. I like to use a variety of activities that may include textbook exercises or practical applications.
To help my lessons I use methods and instructional material from "Instituto Cervantes", I teach the student grammar and how write it, but also I put emphasis on comunication skills, expresions and a little on Spanish culture to immerse the student in the real language.
My teaching method is discussion and demonstration method. It's a must for me to ensure my student understands the taught concept and can apply application knowledge to the taught concept. I believe every student is smart and can prosper.
