I am a strong believer that everyone has something to say and I can help them to express themselves. I cater to individual requirments by adapting my teaching methodology based on the individuals needs. I can help to develop the strengths of a persons dancing.
My teaching method is one I hardly see being used. My teaching method isn’t based on creating perfection, but instead building confidence and emphasising uniqueness. I believe each student is individual and therefore everyone’s dance style is different. Dance isn’t based on just the choreography put in place, but dance is from the heart, life experiences, feelings , passion and emotions.
Shake your body, get fit and have fun with some great African dance moves. Get ready to enjoy 90 minutes of vibrant dancing, lots of laughter and a positive vibe! Suitable for all abilities. Wear comfortable clothing and Bring water.
My teaching is very simple but highly technical. My choreographies are mostly based on the character of the music and this way the steps are very creative and fun to watch and dance for it. This way people who are really looking forward to loosen up can start being more out-spoken in dance and can be more confident.
I always try to look at what level someone is when I warm up. Based on that I can start with those. I also find it important to know what you would like to learn, from there I can also continue working.
Whether it's Popping, Hip Hop Freestyle, Grooves, or Afro dances, I will first assess your level and wants, and then give you lessons based on the assessment. If you want to learn and just enjoy dance, I will give you lessons for that. If you want to level up and become very good at a particular style, I will give you lessons for that.
my teaching method is based a lot around self and bringing out the best version of yourself whilst embracing and accepting who you naturally are. I incorporate a balance of good discipline and enjoyment to the class. I also incorporate different styles that I have learnt such as dancehall, afrobeats, contemporary, hip hop, experimental, krump.
Offer beginners and advance classes also one on one sessions starting with the basics.
My teaching method is mostly improvised, and uniquely based on the ability or the student/s. I tend to encouraged students to be free with there movement and try to feel the music, rather than trying to force out uncomfortable dance moves.
