My coaching method is focused on developing players' control of the ball and ability to work in a team. I focus heavily on improving in-game psychology and ball skills, all of which are central to the improvement of players on the pitch.
I am a bubbly, friendly person who has graduated with a sports science and primary teaching degree. Sport is my main focus in teaching which would involve warm up/skills based activities/games and a cool down. But teaching other subjects I'm confident in to. My philosophy focuses on getting the best out of the children and making sure they enjoy what they are learning.
My teaching methods are based around teaching though experience and in a playful way that will help students to better understand the topics that they are struggling with. I strive to make teaching and learning a fun experience that will stick with students for years to come.
Technique, session program plans and having fun
My classes will run 1 hour minimum and can be tailored to your positional preference. We will progress from week to week getting more specialized and specific in our programs. As a qualified personal trainer I can work on strength and speed as well as skill set.
My methodology is based upon 3 senses 1. vision 2.hearing 3. touch Visual demonstration of skills is used frequently in all lessons as well as the use of drum music. Verbal instructions are used frequently as well as the use of songs. Touch is used through the practical application of sporting and drumming skills.
I understand people have different motivations for playing sport and as such, will aim to accommodate for everyone.
My teaching method is to make sure everyone is enjoying what there doing but also not be silly and I base my classes on sports.
I believe in giving my students a strong grasp of fundamentals to serve as the foundation for their learning experience. From there, student engagement and engaged critical thinking allow them to build upon their skills and knowledge while allowing them the ability to retain this information by forming it in their own words and mind.
