I teach beginner guitar lessons using the teaching book ‘Progressive Beginner Guitar, by Gary turner. If the student just wants to learn rhythm guitar. I can teach them chords using my own knowledge or by using Progressive beginner guitar Chords by Gary Turner. All books will need to be purchased by the student. I teach face to face in my own home or via skype or zoom video link.
Having just completed my HSC, I am trying to spend as much time possible playing and involving myself in music, sharing my passion with others being just one of my musical hobby’s , I pride myself on my patient and easy going approach to teaching
i base my classes on the knowledge of the student, if you know how to play the guitar at a standard level but you cant learn a certain technique i can teach you the technique. i have different methods of teaching taking the students knowledge into consideration.
My teaching methodology focuses on making sure that each learning exchange is catered to the learning style of the pupil. I teach through a variety of songs that the student shows interest in and use these as a vehicle to teach music skills.
I teach an engaging song based method, which is customised to you. Teaching you how to play a song you love as soon as possible helps with your confidence and is overall more enjoyable. I can teach a range of songs and styles which help you with the correct technique, building a foundation of songs while introducing helpful theory. I can also teach you through AMEB studies.
The student grow is the main focus on every lesson. That means that sometimes we're going to go slower or faster. Homeworks are a must. The improvement is impossible without practice so every student should has his own instrument. The lesson has always a duration of 1 hour.
I base my approach on what is the objective. I build smaller goals based on that objective, and attain it one at a time. Though time is of the essence, I believe that when learning is concerned, it is best for it to take time. If an approach doesn't work, I don't force it. Instead, I try a different way.
I like to teach by guiding a student along, from the basics to the more advanced material. I'd like to be teaching a student how to play the guitar as if it's second nature, and generally would like things to be light-hearted and fun.
Hi there! :) I am Wyandrhine and I am an 18 year old high school graduate from Northpine Christian College. I believe my music education in and outside of school, practical experiences, self-learning, and my enthusiastic and outgoing personality would make me your great tutor.
I mould my lessons depending on age, how my student interacts with their instrument, musical interests and commitment to practise. I believe that every student has a type of music they can identify with so I look to harness that passion and use it to develop their skills.
I am very patient teacher and I want to help my students to strengthen and develop their musical knowledge in bass guitar no matter age or skill level. We will start with getting an understanding for the instrument through different genres of music and skill building techniques. I'm very happy for suggestions from studies or song that a student or a parent wants me to focus on.
Depending on the students age/ability, a lesson will last for a half hour with two sections - scales and song learning to one hour with three sections - scales, reading and song learning. The theory progresses with the student's competence.
I am geared towards students that want to write songs. A lesson entails a demonstration for 15mins and then the student attempting it for 30 while I correct hand position and help to adjust the pressure they use. I believe music is the most important thing in the universe and genuinely want to share my passion.
I base all my methods on analysing the students skill and mindset to see what types of techniques are required to learn and keep them focused and motivated with ideas and inspiration that I've experienced over the past 20 years.
I am a 20 year old male, who is very interested in meditation, yoga and music. Much of my teaching is based on encouragement to persevere and flourish in their own personal practice, which is different for every individual. I can and have worked with various individuals and crafted a practice and routine designed for them and their strengths.
I emphasize my teachings on practice, passion with the instrument and most of all - having FUN! Familiarization with the instrument is foremost. I teach the student the basics of reading notes and guitar tablature. Practice exercises are given on each session. Finger and strumming dexterity is also developed.
My teaching is based upon gaining an understanding of what the student wants to get out of learning the guitar and move forward with a fun and structured approach to achieve that goal, whether that be to learn songs, follow a formal grading route, develop technique or learn new skills - beginner to advanced.
My way of teaching is from my many years of playing shows, practicing, teaching and just being a musician as well. I can identify what problems the individual needs to become more aware of and I create lessons according to what he/she needs to learn to become proficient in that area.
I focus on the learning needs of my students during lessons. I believe music should be internalised before it can be expressed. This way, students will be taught to play from the heart, which makes lessons less clinical and more enjoyable.
I'm very easygoing, fun and passionate about music. I get along with everyone very easily. Learning with me will be like going on a carnival, full of fun and games. I'm very dedicated towards my students. I'll always be ready to help my students in any way.

I am a private music teacher using the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) framework. I encourage both playing by ear and sight-reading. My lessons are student performance based using repertoire that is engaging and relevant to the student, young or not so young.
My teaching method can be applied to individuals or Group lessons. I break down the mystery of the unknown and show you how the guitar is an extension of you, and your emotions, creating the opportunity to allow feeling in your playing, not just playing a chord or a note.
I go through some music theory, find out where the student is going with their music and build on that.Chords, bar, and basic chords, song writing, using song with guitar.Bends, pull offs, hammers etc.Proper positioning tuning and stringing the guitar appropriately.I use Blues as a strong base for the music and span out from there.
I do one on one lessons starting with the very basics from learning important notes and string identification right through to learning the eight chords that everyone needs to learn.
Learning to play a musical instrument at an early age can enhance many aspects of a child's life. The disciplined structured practice in music strengthens various brain functions and allows a child to apply those strengths to academic, social and emotional activities.
My method is to start with a simple theme, either a rhythm, a chord, a scale and expand it into an original piece of music. Teach students how they can apply these tools to learn & master the guitar. The key is to create achievable goals and focus on these with each lesson.
The lessons are structured to accomodate the individual needs and direction of each student . A plan is made to help each student achieve their goals as effectively as possible, be it live perfromance, audition preparation or basic skill and technique development. I recommend a focus on fundamentals to create a foundation for development.
My teaching methods vary from student to student. I understand the importance of listening skills and empathy when teaching and interacting with the students. I strive to be a clear communicator. I strive to make the learning process to be engaging & fun with activities and getting the student to participate in the lesson, instead of being a passive observer.
My method of teaching is to help my students understand more about music and how the instrument can really be the best addition to any band setting such as wedding gigs, acoustic pub/bar gigs or even live music events. It isn't hard to learn how to play as long as there is passion, I can guide you towards the right path.
