Learning a language is immersion. It's asking yourself what you want to be able to say. It's finding the courage to make mistakes and still try again. It's love. It's the vibe of it. I've worked with several people wanting to learn a language for several years already and I enjoy accompanying you on your way of being able to talk freely without any blockades.
My teaching methods depend heavily on what the person needs help for. I had students that came up to me and wanted help with their homework, others had issues with pronunciation. I am not a big fan of doing the homework for somebody because the client will not learn anything, I am rather looking over your shoulder and pointing out mistakes.
I base my classes first of all on creating a trusting and supportive connection with the student. Believing in your own abilities is the most important step towards a successful learning experience. We will work with contemporary learning material geared to bring fun to the class as well.
My teaching method is to have fun while learning with for example games, songs or simple books to learn the basics of the language and then increase the level from there slowly. I love teaching others what I know and have great patience so no need to worry to know any words when we start.
The most important thing is patience and fun! I don’t follow a strict guideline or something like that- I always let kids/ students/ clients be part of learning and I know how to respond on the needs of every individual in a positive and sensitive way.
My teaching begins with ascertaining the needs of my students. Once these have been established I will present a range of activities within a chosen topic to work on the areas of focus, such as speaking, sentence construction, reading comprehension and so on.
You can not teach every person the same way. First of all you need to find out how to communicate with your student the best way. Using different learning materials and looking at the response to them is essential. Furthermore, it is important to encourage them and always keep up their motivation. It’s important not to overwhelm them.
If you like to write me your theme/topic, I can prepare something we can use for your lessons and improve your skills. Also, speak with a native is better because you will pronunciate better and can get some tips and tricks.
Hallo und wilkommen! Hello and welcome! (See how similar English and German words can be? Almost makes you think learning German would be easy, but no). Fortunately, I've majored in German and am here to help you achieve mastery of all those long words, three genders, and four grammatical cases (and get better grades, let's be real here).
Online or in Person. All lessons will be worked out individually to the student's level and personality. online: Beginners: We will just start with a few easy terms with the translation and a voicenote from me, so you know the sound and pronunciation. Just to create a basic vocabulary.
My teaching style is gearing towards anyone. I enjoy conducting fun, entertaining and interactive classes. By learning with me I can guarantee you will have my full attention as I tailor make lessons to each individual which results in a wonderful, productive learning environment.
My teaching method is to teach step by step and to communicate with my students. The most important thing is that the students can follow me and understand everything before I start with another topic. They are free to ask me questions if they can't follow and I'll help them.
Hello students. My name is Johannes and I am a backpacker from Germany. German is not the easiest language to learn but I want to help you to find an easy way to learn it or to improve your skills. I'm 20 years old and live in Sydney since September last year, with my partner and his family. I love to lern and make people lern.
My teaching methid is based on a five-step-system.
I prefer exercises and asking questions. Working together to build a foundation of knowledge that can be built upon on the students own time.
We will talk a lot through smalltalk, but learning some vocabulary is really necessary for this.
I am 34 years old, have lived in Canada and in Australia for seven years and would love to teach German to Australians and share my knowledge about the country.
I base my classes on „learning by doing“. My method is speaking a lot to keep sentences in mind and then put them down so that every student understands and knows how to say it.
My teaching method is learning by doing. When you don’t practice, then you can never reach a perfect level. I’m here for practicing.
Individual learning, always practicing, trying to keep the students motivated and reapeat everything you learn.
I base my teaching on the individual need of my student, incorporating physical ( i.e walk and talk) and cultural ( i.e.
I would start with the normal basics like " I'm" and easy sentences.
As every student is unique, learning approaches are different. In the beginning we decide together what your needs are - from there on I create an individual learning plan. I often prepare topics for every class, a mix of learning sheets, reading and conversation.
My teaching method is very structured. I start with the grammar basics like articles and like to go on with the times. Meanwhile I also like to do a few vocabulary sessions.
If you are planning to go overseas soon I can help you to become more confident in your German skills. I am an open minded person and prefer a casual teaching method. My lessons would be on a more conversational basis to improve vocabulary and pronunciation.
My teaching method is communicative language teaching, which involves focusing on the 4 language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) and on teaching grammar and vocabulary in context.
Professional teaching using German language books levels A1 to C1 or tailored lessons depending on the needs of my student(s). Always having fun during my lessons as this is important to me and for sure can teach you lots about the German culture.
My teaching style is both informal and structured, as I believe that we learn best by doing. This means both speaking and listening in the target language from the outset. This approach is also the basis of 'total immersion programs, and is similar to the way we learn our first language. This makes learning both fun and stress-free.
I like to make my classes fun and engaging. Especially when you're looking to improve your oral skills I think it is important to work on vocabulary that you need in every day life/when moving to a different country.
