My methodology will vary from student to student as I focus on each individual's personal learning preferences, interests, weaknesses & strengths. I mostly connect course content with real life case studies or immersive activities to ensure the concepts are fully understood. I will prioritise effective learning by going along the student's pace, even if they prefer to take things slow.
My teaching method includes first helping out with homework to assess the level of help required with the aim being to work ahead of the school classes. I am also able to provide additional textbook questions and past papers. Any questions brought up by the tutee will try and be answered in the teaching time otherwise I will follow up and send through an answer after this period.
I will see what they are learning based on homework and go from there. Instead of giving the answers, I will assist in helping children improve by working together. I can provide extra homework if wanted to help children practice and understand the subject they are having difficulty in.
I understand that each student is different and I create a tutoring approach that suits their personality the best! It is important that my students are constantly making progress but still enjoy the learning process as I believe that a love of learning helps achieve great academic results
I teach based on sheer understanding and practice. I also love to bring out new ideas from the students and relate with the subjects .
I generally follow school routine and prioritise school syllabus and homework. If the student is falling back in some subjects, I try to focus more on that and try my best to make that topic interesting to him/her. I help in essay writing. English non-speaking households can expect me help their kids to be efficient in English speaking, writing and grammar.
Hello! My name is Zoe Knight and I am a recent graduate of a Bachelor of International Relations and I am currently undertaking my Honours at the ANU. Having been raised in many countries around the world - Portugal, China, UAE and Australia - I have a solid understanding of various teaching methods which I believe works to my advantage when tutoring.
I have found through tutoring such a wide range of students from a wide range of backgrounds that every student has different needs and requires a different approach. I like to make it clear with students that they can always be honest about what they do and don't understand, and I often ask a lot of questions to help achieve this.
I strive to meet the individual needs of the student, so I am happy to provide any lesson structure that works for the student and to cater to their unique learning style. A lesson with me would typically involve working through assigned homework or textbook questions and helping to explain when the student gets stuck.
Identified the needs of learners and adapted course content and delivery style to their needs. Developed and implemented comprehensive lesson plans that accommodated specific level of learners while offering support to make certain each student was able to grasp materials.
My teaching methods will be understanding your abilities and be knowing your likes and dislike in particular subject and proceeding with the topic you like most.
I approach teaching with enthusiasm. I believe that it’s important to take learning opportunities from students experiences, interests and passions. I am confident with the Australian Curriculum and how to navigate the learning requirements for each stage and/or grade level and how to achieve these learning goals for an individual.
My teaching method is strengths based. I think tutoring is often needed when students haven't had someone to individually support them. Often the way that schools teach does not make sense to every student and they simply need the concept explained in a way that they understand. I love tryi ng to find how my students can get interested in a subject and see how it can be made easier for them.
I approach teaching and learning with a focus on independence, resilience and skills development. I aim to support students through guidance and sharing my knowledge and experience. I value student individuality and have flexible approaches to learning to meet the needs of students.
I completed my Masters in Information Technology and Systems with High Distinction. I am passionate about teaching young talents and nurture them into an expert.
My teaching methods are kinaesthetic, meaning that I would explain how to complete an activity or whatever needs to be done, as well as, showing how to complete the activity. That way I am catering to both the audio and visual learners at the same time.
Well , I always start from basics so that foundation for that subject becomes very strong and preferred to do recaps and interactive learning sessions where students participate.
I make teaching fun and engaging. I incorporate hands on activities and games in my teaching. I believe it the modelled, guided and idependent ways to teach almost everything.
I'm a very dedicated person and I know how to work well with different kinds of people. I'll give your children my best to help them achieve their full potential. The lesson will run for 2 hours and it'll be on the weekends as I'm a student too.
