As a teaching assistant, I have taught upcoming third and fourth grade classes Math, English, and Science at Kwong Kow Chinese School.
As a counselor at the Literature Arts Play Program held at Harvard University, I have taught groups of 8-10 Chinese students how to read and understand a complex literary work by using art.
As a volunteer mentor, I have helped a new immigrant with English and typing skills.
I have received both the John W. Leroy Jr. Renaissance Award as well as the Wellesley Book Award.
