I like to take a very active approach to teaching. The more enjoyable it is, the easier it is to learn. I try to make the content relevant and applicable to a range of situations to allow it to be accessible to all students. Each student, whether in a group session or on a one to one basis will get an individualised programme to enable them to progress based on their own ability. Such structure will be fluid in response to the student outcomes.
I have a first class masters in chemistry from which I went into research to achieve a second masters, this time in professional research in chemistry during which I demonstrated to undergraduate chemists. From here I ventured into teaching and graduated with a outstanding PGDE in chemistry for secondary education and performed my NQT year in one of the highest achieving schools in the UK. I have decided to explore the world and after a brief stint in Asia, I am looking to settle in Melbourne.

Millie is a fantastic teacher who values students of all abilities and strives to find the best way for people to learn. She loves chemistry and will enable any student who comes into contact with her to achieve their ambitions.
Millie has an excellent grasp of what a student needs to do in order to achieve. She is firm in her expectations but also inspires students to work hard. In her teaching role at the 18th best school in the UK, she routinely went above and beyond what was expected of her and won the admiration of students and staff alike. Her subject knowledge is excellent and I would not hesitate to place her in charge of my child’s education.
