I am a law student and a native of Mandarin. I love to show the beauty of my mother tongue and spread it to anyone interested in. Even with Chinese children, I emphasise the unique character of the language. Learning a language is more about practising, and learning Chinese is more about feeling. So I always ask students to feel the language instead of "speak" or "write" the language while practising.
I believe teaching is exchanging ideas with different people. It is always important to know what my students care about so that I can share and deliver my knowledge in a more efficient way. I pay attention to communicating with my students and try to make it easier for them to understand.
I am currently a law student in UNSW. I graduated from Central China Normal University which is one of the best university in China to educate and train future teachers. I have worked part-time tutoring and helping children during my college time. I have shown great ability in Chinese and Math in my middle school (Chinese: 116/120, Math: 120/120) and high school (126/150, Math: 148/150). I have been with students with different grades or different levels. I love spending time with children and different people, and I feel proud and happy from the bottom of my heart every time my students learn to understand what I am passionate about.
