The teaching methodology is arrived by understanding what the person truly needs and is tailored for that person.
Step 1. is sitting down and discussing the issue and working together to figure out what the next step is,
Sometimes there may be a indirect issue which is affecting the primary issue which will need working on before or simultaneously.
For example if the issue comes down to person A's expenditure which in turn brings them into debt and gives them a constant state of depression, then starting a day to day budget may only later bring the person into a anxious shock because the expenditure is in regards to there fear of Cacophobia , so they have to have that manicure/hair cut & Brazilian every month.
So it really comes down to the person understanding as step 1.
Step 2: is finding an action plan which best works for the individual
step 3: implementing the action plan and recording results, which generally gives the person a sense of satisfaction being able to see what they have accomplished.
Having a large IQ can at times make someone ignorant of the hurdles that have been faced and conquered in life as a victory, thinking of it as nothing more than a hurdle everyone else has learnt.
It only recently dawned to me what I have succeed in life others are still struggling with.
1 in 6 Australians are financially in debt, 1 in 5 are mentally unwell and 70% are physically unfit and can not seem to get out of this rut of life. (depending which statistics you read of course)
I have no certificate to prove my ability because I always had been to perplexed in; should I study for the next 4-8 years to obtain a degree which I intern may or may like just to change it in 6 years time.?
But what I can tell you is this.
I brought my first house at the age of 19, currently aged 26 I have owned 3 different houses and currently have a investment property in Adelaide, I came from a rather abusive upbringing but with a lot of reading of university pysc books, financial interests and deciding to really take on life challenges I found alot of contentment in life.
I am very fit and healthy with a athletic body without needed to pay for a gym membership. (also learnt through reading, experimenting, trial and failure whist being raised up with a unhealthy diet.
And went through schooling with the undiagnosed condition of dyslexia which in turn made myself feel rather dimwitted all through my high school years.
I now live very contently with plenty of savings and a healthy mind and body.
Now its my turn to help you. !!
