The best way to learn to draw or improve is to practise and experiment. I want to create a safe space for people to try new things, step out of their comfort zone, and learn about basic design principals in art.
I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor degree in Character Animation. I love drawing both traditionally and digitally, and spend a lot of time on it almost daily. I have worked for studios and freelancers before, and have a small following online.
Lessons are either 1 or 2 hours. Travelling to the south suburbs of Canberra includes an extra travel cost of $5
- Bachelor Degree in Character Animation (The Animation Workshop, Viborg)
- Worked for Ja Film, Aarhus, on a feature film "Vitello"
- Worked for TurboPunch, on a 10 minute webshort "Eddsworld: Saloonatics"
- Given lectures at Radford College about digital art and animation
Jesse gave a lecture to the year 9 media class at Radford College about animation. They taught the class all about the basics of animations and the kids were super engaged! Jesse's enthusiasm and energy was infectious and that definitely resonated with the kids.
Jesse has given excellent feedback and help on my animations numerous times now, which also helped me greatly to learn and improve. Besides feedback on my existing animations, they've also taught me about colour theory, how to animate a lipsync, and guided me through clean up and colouring. Their explanations were always very clear, and in-depth where it is needed. Jesse is also patient and gladly answered all my questions.
